Although the movie Mang Me Di Bo has not officially aired yet, many behind-the-scenes scenes have been revealed, making viewers emotional. To get a realistic scene, Tuan Tran proactively asked Hong Dao to bite him for real, causing bruises on his leg.
The movie Mang Me Di Bo has a strong Vietnamese family character, told in the sophisticated Korean cinematic language, and is scheduled to premiere in Vietnam on August 1.
In the newly released behind-the-scenes footage from the film Mang Me Di Bo, artist Hong Dao, who plays Hanh's mother, expressed her understanding and sympathy for the character through a poignant statement: "Hong Dao herself feels guilty for hurting Tuan Tran. All of that, expressed through Le Thi Hanh's eyes, and the mother's instinct, even if she has Alzheimer 's, in some memory she still recognizes that this is her child, her reason for living."
With just one sentence, Artist Hong Dao not only showed deep sympathy for the character but also made the audience clearly feel the pain, love and maternal instinct hidden deep inside the old, sick woman she portrayed. That sentence seemed to touch the depths of emotion, where the boundary between actor and character was completely erased.
Previously, one of the most tense scenes in Mang Me Di Bo was the moment when Hanh's mother bit Hoan's (Tuan Tran) leg. The actor himself proactively asked Hong Dao to bite him for real, causing his leg to bruise.
After filming the scene, Hong Dao said she was restless all night because of the feeling of guilt, an emotion that goes beyond the limits of acting, but is the torment of a mother who has accidentally hurt her "child".
With her ability to transform emotionally, artist Hong Dao once again affirmed her class as a veteran actress, who can make the audience laugh and cry with just a look, a gesture or a word. With the role of Hanh's mother, she gave a delicate, moving performance, clearly showing the psychological depth of an old mother with Alzheimer's, sometimes forgetting, sometimes remembering, but the motherly love never fades.
