Mai Phuong out the top 'angry' at Miss World, breaking the chain of VN Top Model contest

Miss Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong – Vietnam's representative at the 71st Miss World, continued to cause regret for beauty fans when she did not appear in the top 20 of the Top Model contest, slipping another chance to reach the top in the finale.

On the evening of March 2 Vietnam time, Miss Mai Phuong and more than 110 other contestants from all over the world, officially entered the Top Model contest, within the framework of the 71st Miss World - Miss World, which is being held in India. This is the competition, which every year the audience always looks forward to at Miss World, where contestants have the opportunity to unleash their catwalk skills, with specially designed outfits, prepared in advance to bring to the competition.

Top Model is also a side contest to find the winner, choose an extra spot to be sure to be in the top 40 in the finale, so Mai Phuong is expected more. The contest night takes place with 2 stages, the contestants will be shown 2 different outfits. With her first outfit, Mai Phuong brought a suit designed by designer Pham Dang Anh Thu, named Pear Rain. The dress is meticulously attached, the back flap is also very feat.

Entering the main contest of Top Model, contestants were asked to perform in costumes with the common color of black. Choosing an outfit that is quite suitable for her physique, hiding the imperfections on her body, Mai Phuong was quite confident and performed melancholy on stage. It is expected to have a spot in the top 20 Top Model, when the Asia-Oceania region is selected for up to 5 places, but Vietnam is once again not named. Accordingly, 5 names of this region in the top 20 Top Model are India, Philippines, Indonesia, Lebanon and Turkey.

This is also the next contest out of the top of Mai Phuong, many people are worried and think that the queen is losing her form. Previously, Mai Phuong was out of the top 5 of the Head to Head challenge, out of the top two of the Sports and Talent sections. The outing of the top 20 Top Model, also means that Mai Phuong has broken the chain of out top of Vietnam in this contest, when in the last 3 consecutive seasons, the representatives of our country have achievements. Specifically, Tieu Vy entered the top 32 Top Model in 2018, in 2019 Luong Thuy Linh won the second prize in this contest and most recently Do Ha in 2021, reached the top 13.

However, fans also said that the fact that Mai Phuong is out of the top Top Model does not mean that she is not doing well. Perhaps because the ground of contestants this year is quite even, the difference is not much, making the entry to the top also become more competitive.
