At the end of his life he had cancer

In 2019, Ly Trieu Co was discovered to have liver cancer. Although doctors advised him to have surgery, he refused because he did not want to go on the operating table when he was old. However, it was not until he received help from some artist friends that he was able to undergo treatment.

Ly Trieu Co believes that life and death are a matter of fate, and that getting cancer at this age is a matter of luck. If he really had to leave, he would calmly accept it.

"I don't need to live long, living long is very difficult. I have been working in the entertainment industry for 20 years, I have encountered everything. My health is not as good as before because of natural laws, but it can also be due to time." Children often work too hard," he shared.

Even though he had surgery, his condition still did not improve. In June 2019, he passed away at Queen Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 69.
