At the program, Huynh Lap was surprised when he was forced to drop out of school because he was engrossed in making art and did not go to class. One day, I received a letter to drop out of school because I did not complete the number of classes. So I stopped studying until now."

Although he has no connection with formal education, the star of the web series A stick of incense is not pessimistic. He accumulates knowledge and learns experience from his seniors and colleagues through each project.

Besides making art, Huynh Lap said he is also very interested in social activities. One of the activities he and his group of friends have maintained for many years is helping sanitation workers clean the streets on New Year's Eve in Long Xuyen (An Giang).
