Eel

In eels, large, long eels have no eggs, while ovaries are only present in smaller eels.

But researcher Max Lambert points to one potential target: S.ex change (which occurs only in the newborn stages of frogs) could develop genetic diversity and eliminate some of the bad mutations during reproduction. Whatever the causes and effects of s.ex change in frogs, there is still much to learn about these amphibian species.

Clownfish
