Trang knew that this was a property caused by crime but still helped sell 3.9 billion VND. After that, Son gave Trang 100 million VND.

On October 16, 2019, all three defendants were arrested by the police in an emergency.

During the investigation, Son admitted that he had participated in 6 other thefts, worth more than 5 billion VND. At the same time, Son and Thang claimed to have used stolen money to gamble on social networks, but it was unclear where and with whom they beat, so there was no basis for handling.

In court, the defendants admitted the offense as charged and asked for a reduction of the sentence.

During the argument, the representative of the Procuracy proposed to sentence Son 18-20 years in prison for seven thefts, and Thang 12-14 years in prison.
