Based on the legal regulations on intellectual property and the results of professional appraisal according to conclusion No. 01/2025/KLGD-TTGĐ dated January 7, 2025 of the Center for Appraisal, Information and Transfer of Copyright and Related Rights under the Copyright Office, the MV "Chang the chong mat" was determined not to copy Jungkook's MV "Standing Next To You".

"The MV "Can't Close Your Eyes" and Hung Huynh personally do not violate any copyright and related rights to the MV "Standing Next To You" such as the rights to name, title, create derivative works, copy, publish, or protect the integrity of the work according to the current Intellectual Property Law and related regulations", the original statement from the legal unit and authorized representative of Hung Huynh.

At the same time, the Appraisal Center and the Copyright Appraisal Council in Decision 08/QD-TTGĐ, including representatives from the Vietnam Musicians Association, the Department of Management and International Cooperation on Copyright and Related Rights - Copyright Office and musicians and directors, concluded: "There is no copying between the audio and video recording of "Chang the muon mat" by Hung Huynh and the audio and video recording of "Standing Next To You" by Bighit Music Co., LTD".

In addition, Hung Huynh's side affirmed that they will use the law to resolve any acts of slande.r or false information affecting the singer's legal rights and interests. However, the singer still made the online community suspicious when he released a legal document after 1 month of apologizing.

Hung Huynh's fans expressed their joy when after a period of temporary hiding, the MV "Can't Close My Eyes" reappeared on YouTube, and at the same time, the official document was spread everywhere to prove that their idol did not plagiarize or violate copyright laws.

But for fans of Jung Kook or BTS, Hung Huynh's response is still considered unsatisfactory. A part of ARMY, K-Pop fans continue to "gently remind" and choose to "boycott" the male singer's products.
