On the evening of August 11, Huan Hoa Hong (aka Bui Xuan Huan, 39 years old, from Yen Bai) suddenly posted a message asking for help and advice when he encountered legal trouble related to the SH motorbike with license plate number: 97B1 - 99999 that he bought 1 year ago.

According to Bui Xuan Huan's post on Facebook with more than 3 million followers, the motorbike with the five-digit license plate was bought by him from a man in Bac Kan on July 14, 2023 for 490 million VND, the m.oney was transferred to the owner's account, Mr. NTQ.

However, trouble began when Huan Hoa Hong contacted the old owner of the SH motorbike to do the procedure to withdraw the five-digit 9 license plate so that he could identify it and transfer the aforementioned "vip" license plate to another motorbike, but the old owner said "he was selling the motorbike, not the license plate". At the same time, Huan Hoa Hong also discovered that the five-digit 9 license plate had been "legalized" for another Dream motorbike, not his.

Huan Hoa Hong shared that at the time he bought the SH, there were no regulations on license plate identification, so he only received the papers that came with the vehicle, which were sufficient for it to participate in traffic. He emphasized that if he bought an SH without a license plate and registration, it would be no different from buying a stolen vehicle, and no one would dare spend nearly half a billion VND to buy a vehicle in such a condition.

According to Huan Hoa Hong, when he tried to contact the old owner to resolve the issue, they were initially very happy, but then turned their backs on him, making it impossible for him to contact them again. After a while, he discovered that the license plate with five 9s had been transferred to another Dream motorbike.

"When we could no longer contact him, suddenly one fine day, I don't know if he or his son applied for the license plate on another Dream motorbike and then showed it off all over social media platforms," Huan Hoa Hong said, adding evidence on his phone that the "vip" license plate had been transferred to the Dream motorbike's frame number, engine number, and previous owner's name.

According to Huan Hoa Hong, his relatives have sought to resolve the issue with the former owner, but were refused. "They did not resolve my car, I do not know what he did in Bac Kan, so today I made a clip to present the truth so that everyone can understand."

In the nearly 8-minute video, Huan Hoa Hong admitted that the matter became more complicated when he sold the SH to someone else. He was worried that he would be held legally responsible if a problem arose, and wanted the online community to advise him on how to handle this situation in the most reasonable way.

"I'm a businessman, I sold that car to someone else to earn some m.oney, but they turned around and sued Huan for fraud. I'm a weak person and can only explain the reason like that so that everyone can help and advise Huan on what to do best," Huan Hoa Hong said sadly.
