Mr. Dinh Van Thanh also confirmed that Tiktoker Pham Thoai did not declare and pay taxes in Hai Phong. "It's because he's not here. He's only from Hai Phong and doesn't do business in Hai Phong," Mr. Thanh said.

And to further clarify this incident, a reporter from Industry and Trade Newspaper sent an e-mail to Pham Thoai but after 5 days still have not received a response.

In addition, Pham Thoai and his crew were also accused of being unprofessional and difficult to please. Even though the amount was up to hundreds of millions of dong, Pham Thoai's side did not require the creation of a contract or related binding terms between the two parties. Along with that is creating livestreams with revenue of hundreds of millions of dong to attract booking brands.

In response to the information online, Pham Thoai directly spoke up. The male TikToker said that this perfume brand asked acquaintances to introduce it to book the launch event and livestream the product. Pham Thoai's side quoted a price of 300 million VND, however, because of their relationship, Pham Thoai agreed to reduce it to 220 million VND including event attendance and livestream. Pham Thoai said the livestream fee is only about 50 million VND.

Because this "job" is a bit urgent, Pham Thoai's side did not sign a contract, requested enough money to be transferred before the livestream, and did not commit to KPIs.

However, Pham Thoai said he found the brand to be unprofessional and not fully prepared for the livestream to be effective. At the same time, this TikToker also warned that with a new brand, if there is no discount deal, no one will buy it.
