This year, the snake mascot created by Mr. Tam continues to attract attention and lively comments on social networks. The orange-brown snake statue, 1.7m high, 1.7m wide and 2.5m long, has been placed at May Lung Doi farmstay in Huong Tan commune, Huong Hoa district since January 6. The special thing about this snake mascot is its gentle, playful appearance, not fierce like the usual snake images. With big, round, sparkling eyes and a fancy hat, the snake mascot has a charming, feminine look, creating sympathy for viewers.

Mr. Tam shared that this work was ordered by a tourist area to decorate on the occasion of welcoming the New Year of At Ty 2025. He also revealed that he is in the process of completing another snake statue as ordered by Quang Tri province.

It took artist Dinh Van Tam about 10 days to complete this "feverish" snake sculpture. The main material used was cement, which was then painted after being shaped. He said the idea of creating the mascot came randomly. He looked up some details online and then created the final shape of the mascot himself.

During the 10-day creation process, the most difficult part for Mr. Tam was shaping the snake's head, especially the face and eyes. He shared: "The snake's head alone took about 2 days. The face and eyes were the most difficult to shape, requiring meticulousness and concentration to create a soulful statue." His meticulousness, carefulness and dedication created a lively, soulful work that won the hearts of many viewers.
