H'Hen Nie transforms into "Coffee Princess", takes to the streets parading in unique costumes

Miss H'Hen Nie impressed the audience with her "Coffee Princess" look on the first day of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025.

Taking on the role of Media Ambassador of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival for 3 consecutive seasons, Miss H'Hen Niê always has activities to promote and convey the message of loving coffee, each year in a different way. H'Hen Niê once shared that coffee is love and is the thread that connects generations together. H'Hen Niê herself also has many memories with coffee trees since she was a chil.d, so becoming the Media Ambassador of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is her honor and pride.

On the first day of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025, H'Hen Nie appeared at the Coffee Exhibition Fair with a cute look, with blonde hair, a bo.w tie and a white dress with coffee bean motifs. H'Hen Nie received a warm welcome from the audience present at the event. As soon as H'Hen Nie's image was posted on social networks, the audience was amazed by her extremely impressive appearance, many viewers commented "like a doll", "princess" and gave compliments to H'Hen Nie.

After the show ended, H'Hen Nie returned home, just as her family was preparing lunch. Therefore, H'Hen Nie spontaneously took a photo series with the theme of the Coffee Gir.l, inspired by the Cinderella story, with a familiar setting from H'Hen Nie's own kitchen: the fire, the stilt house... The photo series was done quickly within 15 minutes, H'Hen Nie took advantage of all the available props in the house such as a broom, a basket of vegetables, a basket of chili, and peppercorns drying.

Taking photos at her home, H'Hen Nie also had her "audience" cheering her on, which was her family: her parents, aunts, and nieces. The little ones, in particular, saw Ms. Hen wearing a dress and kept asking her to turn her dress around for them to see. H'Hen Nie revealed that she will have other unique outfits for the coming days, combining promoting coffee and the unique culture of the Central Highlands.

The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 takes place from March 9 to 13, including activities to promote Buon Ma Thuot coffee, attracting audiences from all over the country to gather in Buon Ma Thuot.

On March 10, H'Hen Nie participated in a group activity on the street, within the framework of the festival. She attracted attention with a 3D costume designed in the image of a coffee filter by designer Huynh Hai Duong. People on both sides of the street cheered and called out the beauty queen's name. The costume consisted of an upper body simulating a familiar coffee-making tool. The filter lid was stylized to look like a hat.

The crew built the model by hand, then covered it with a layer of fabric to create shine. Inside, H'Hen Niê wore an ao dai, with tassels attached to the hem to increase the effect when moving. According to H'Hen Niê, the outfit reminded her of many memories with her family. The beauty queen said: "Every coffee season, my parents go to the fields to harvest and bring it back to fill the stilt house. Every morning, my mother wakes up to light the stove, roast the coffee, then brews it with a filter for the whole family to enjoy. To this day, my family still maintains this habit every time we gather."

The beauty and her team came up with the idea a few days before the event started. The costume is not heavy, but it is a bit difficult to move over a distance of nearly 2 km. "I have to keep the filter from shifting when walking through the crowd," she said.

H'Hen Niê, 32 years old, from Dak Lak, was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, then competed in Miss Universe 2018, entering the top 5. In early 2019, the beauty website Missosology voted her the winner of the Timeless Beauty title. H'Hen Niê also participated in films, having her first project as a female action star in 578: The Madman's Bullet. In 2023, she attracted attention when participating in Sister Dep Dap Gio Roc Song, reaching the finals. At the beginning of the year, she announced that she had registered her marriage with photographer Nguyen Tuan Khoi, three years older than her, after seven years together.
