Not only does the presence of Diddy - the troubled hip-hop "tycoon", who was indicted last week for trafficking in sensitive behavior, the clip also has the participation of a "more famous" and "higher-status" person.
Lawyer Ariel Mitchell-Kidd said: "There have been leaked video tapes for sale everywhere... But one person contacted me to put up a video they owned for sale and asked the person in the video to see if they wanted to buy it before it went public. I can say that the video is sensitive in nature... The video was filmed at Diddy's home in Atlanta, and it appears that the participants didn't know they were being videotaped."
Mitchell-Kidd said her client contacted her a few weeks ago. This person claimed that Diddy had touched her in 2018 and had called the police at that time. She added: "She called and told me about the incident and her escape. At that time, she was at a friend's house in the entertainment industry when the defendant came."
She also added: "At first, she was served an item but soon started to feel dizzy. Diddy played a trick on her in an irresistible state. Then another person continues and Diddy observes and satisfies himself."
Mitchell-Kidd said that with a little awareness, her client escaped by running out into the street, in the presence of a neighbor. The charges come as Combs is still behind bars awaiting trial after being indicted earlier this month on three counts, including running the line since 2008. Last week, Diddy faced another lawsuit and was the 10th against him after Cassie Ventura spoke out in November 2023.
The rapper's bail was denied after he pleaded not guilty because of concerns he could flee the country. Diddy, accordingly, sought bail in the amount of $50 million, secured by equity at his Miami residence and his mother's. The male rapper also proposed restricting visitors to the Florida home, only for family, custodians and friends who are not considered accomplices in this criminal case.
According to the "package" of guarantees, the only female guests who visit Diddy's home will be the family or mothers of his children. The male artist also pledged not to contact witnesses, will test for banned substances weekly and provide a visit log.
After Diddy's arrest on September 16, the rapper's lawyer Marc Agnifilo issued a statement: "We are disappointed with the decision that we believe is an unfair prosecution of Diddy by the U.S. Attorney's Office. Diddy is a music icon, a self-made entrepreneur, a man who loves his family, and a generous philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire of his own, loving his children, and working to uplift the black community.
He was imperfect but not a criminal. It is worth noting that Diddy has been very cooperative with the investigation. This is the act of an innocent man who has nothing to hide, and he wishes to be vindicated in court."
If convicted, Diddy, 54, faces a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 15 years and a maximum of life imprisonment. Currently, the male rapper is staying at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, a facility known for its dangerous and poor conditions.
The incident is still being investigated by the authorities and expanded to many other victims. This is considered the most shocking story in the history of the global entertainment industry, because it involves characters that no one dares to think about.
