Dam Vinh Hung admits he has 4 missing toes, is embarrassed and doesn't dare to swim in the sea

On March 12, Dam Vinh Hung's side spoke up to clarify the singer's injury. According to Vietnamnet, Dam Vinh Hung's legal representative said he lost four toes, permanently affecting his ability to perform.

Dam Vinh Hung said that losing four toes while performing in the US had greatly affected his performance ability as well as his quality of life. Therefore, he requested compensation for medical expenses, lost income and mental damage.

Lao Dong newspaper further reported that Dam Vinh Hung's representative said that singer Bich Tuyen's husband and related parties knew about the dangerous situation but did not take reasonable precautions to prevent damage.

"The fountain has been damaged for a long time and a regular inspection would have detected the danger in time to prevent the tragic incident," Dam Vinh Hung's side said.

Previously, on February 19, 2024, Dam Vinh Hung unexpectedly encountered an acciden.t at a party held at the villa of billionaire Gerard Williams, singer Bich Tuyen's husband. Specifically, while singing and dancing enthusiastically, the male singer accidentally climbed onto the tray of the fountain. The male singer tried playing badminton and pickleball, but could not be agile or roll to catch the ball. The lawyer representing singer Bich Tuyen and her husband said that the representative of Dam Vinh Hung issued a press release containing a lot of false and misleading information about the lawsuit with American businessman Gerard Richard Williams III.

Bich Tuyen's lawyer also said that despite the injuries described as "catastrophic" by Dam Vinh Hung's representative, Dam Vinh Hung has continued to perform, dance and sing throughout Vietnam and the US since the incident.

Attorney Alejandro Brito of Brito, PLLC, representing Mr. Williams, added, “Since Mr. Dam Vinh Hung’s request to dismiss the lawsuit, Mr. Dam Vinh Hung’s fans have launched a campaign of defamation and harassment against Mr. Williams and his family, in the hopes of forcing Mr. Williams to pay a settlement to Dam Vinh Hung based on allegations that we believe are baseless.

However, this defamation campaign cannot change the truth, and Mr. Williams is undeterred by the threats. "He and his family look forward to the court's resolution of this matter. Mr. Williams also wishes to close this dispute..." he said.

Bich Tuyen's lawyer asserted that there is video evidence confirming that Dam Vinh Hung intentionally tried to climb to the top of the fountain and caused the incident.

The pedestal and the top of the fountain were destroyed by the fall. After the fall, people around, including Hong Ngoc, helped Dam Vinh Hung out of the water.

Despite clear video evidence, Dam Vinh Hung's lawyers falsely accuse.d Mr. Williams of knowing about the danger but failing to take precautions.

"The claims that the fountain was damaged before, and collapsed during normal use, are completely false," said the representative of Bich Tuyen and her husband.
