Previously, the fact that Mr. Dam still accepted shows in the US even though his performance ban had not ended caused a stir in public opinion. Dam Vinh Hung said that the defendant did not inspect and maintain the construction items according to regulations, leading to a serious incident. He requested Mr. Gerard to compensate for the corresponding amount of mone.y for medical expenses, financial losses due to canceled performances and compensation for mental damage.

The California Supreme Court confirmed it had accepted the case on November 4 and sent it to the judicial branch for processing. The first hearing is scheduled for June 2025.
