Clip of Dam Vinh Hung performing at a fountain goes viral, suspected to be the scene of the toe loss incident

Recently, a clip was revealed on social media showing Dam Vinh Hung dancing next to a fountain. According to previous information, the male singer claimed that singer Bich Tuyen's husband used an outdoor concrete fountain as a stage and a table for drinks. The fountain fell down, crushing Dam Vinh Hung's foot, piercin.g through the male singer's leather shoe, causing several of his toes to be severed.

Although the clip that is being circulated is not yet clear whether it is actually from the billionaire’s house in the US or not, but compared to what Dam Vinh Hung said, the clip looks exactly like he is performing on a fountain. The situation is currently extremely tense, when Dam Vinh Hung decided to file a lawsuit. The male singer filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of California, USA, in Orange County, against Mr. Gerard Richard Williams III, singer Bich Tuyen's husband. In the lawsuit, the male singer claimed that Mr. Gerard Richard Williams III was irresponsible, leading to his serious injury and the amputation of several toes.

Singer Bich Tuyen revealed that Dam Vinh Hung had asked Mr. Gerard if he paid 15 million USD (about 381 billion VND) he would not sue. However, the billionaire felt that the amount was unreasonable because the acciden.t was not the fault of the couple. Unable to meet the request, Dam Vinh Hung filed a lawsuit, with the compensation amount of up to 50 million USD (about 1,000 billion VND).

Singer Dam Vinh Hung himself said in a status posted on his personal page on February 21, 2024, a few days after the incident, that he wanted to stand in a high position so that audiences from afar could see him. "Unexpectedly, the area was not very safe, he fell down, the wound was quite deep and had to go to the hospital for many stitches and severely affected Hung's ability to walk," Mr. Dam wrote.

Amidst the lawsuit controversy, singer Bich Tuyen said that she and her husband are currently not in agreement with the compensation amount that Dam Vinh Hung is demanding of 15 million USD. From the US, singer Bich Tuyen said: "Regarding Dam Vinh Hung's 15 million USD lawsuit, my husband has done nothing wrong to demand such a large amount of compensation."

Singer Bich Tuyen added that she and her husband will not compromise on the amount of compensation Dam Vinh Hung requested: "We will go to court, we will not negotiate or compromise with Dam Vinh Hung."

According to information provided by singer Bich Tuyen, the trial of the lawsuit between her and her husband and Dam Vinh Hung will take place earlier than originally scheduled in June 2025. It is known that singer Dam Vinh Hung and singer Bich Tuyen's family used to have a close relationship with each other, however, the current relationship between the singer and her husband and Dam Vinh Hung has changed after the lawsuit. The singer frankly shared: "Currently, my husband and I and Dam Vinh Hung have turned our backs on each other. We are waiting for the court to resolve the lawsuit."

Singer Bich Tuyen said that she and her husband had worked with the team of lawyers on the lawsuit from Dam Vinh Hung and found that some details were inaccurate and did not reflect the true nature of the incident. "Although I wanted to call Dam Vinh Hung directly, I realized that this was not the right time. Any communication between the two sides must go through a lawyer and be under the supervision of the authorities," Bich Tuyen said.

The California Supreme Court confirmed it had accepted the case on November 4 and sent it to the judicial branch for processing. The first hearing is scheduled for June 2025.
