The idea of the Bran poster revolves around the image of a well with a view from the bottom up, from the perspective of a goby. In the original fairy tale, this is the place associated with the character Tam when she pays attention to the fish given by Mr. Buddha.

The difference from the original here is that all 10 of these characters are shown taking action to feed gobies, not just Tam.

Regarding the idea of designing the character poster, the director shared: "When making the horror variant of Tam Cam, we tried to retain many familiar episodes in fairy tales and gobies are one of them. With this series of posters, we chose the point of view from the goby itself to create a novelty, and at the same time express the idea that the human mind is very complex, there are many things that are not as simple as they appear when seen from another aspect."

In the horror variant called Cam, there are two characters who "think strange but familiar", Hai Hoang and Bom. In the fairy tale, Tam's father is introduced as dying early, so she has to live with her step-aunt. In the horror movie version, this character is named Hai Hoang and appears in a formal outfit, seemingly preparing some ritual. And the mane will be a strange role in the work, promising to hold the important details of the film.

Director Tran Huu Tan revealed that he was inspired by this character from the song about the mane: "The two details associated with the mane, the mo fan and the sticky rice balls, will also appear in the film. To describe Mane, I like to use the word 'interesting'. Mane comes from a very special background, grew up from a young age in a technical institute, met many types of complicated people in society, so Mane has more maturity and maturity than his age. The psychology of the Mane is quite complicated. People often know that the Mane in the folk nursery rhyme, is an innocent, pure, and innocent character, but the Mane in the Bran has more intrigue, calculation, age, and maturity."

Meanwhile, Thien Tu (as Thi Xoan) and Phuoc Loc (as Thai Giam) are actors who have worked with the director before. In Cam, Thien Tu transforms into a member of Tam Cam's family and is also a new creation in the movie. And Phuoc Loc plays the eunuch, who is close to the Crown Prince.

In addition to the young cast, "Cam" also has the presence of two veteran actors, actors Mai The Hiep and Meritorious Artist Ngoc Hiep. Mai The Hiep's character is Mr. Ca Huong, a powerful person in the Tam Cam family. And Artist Ngoc Hiep transformed into Mrs. Ba Tam, a woman who suffered many tragedies. Director Tran Huu Tan said that these two artists will play a significant role and add new aspects to the story.

With a fantasy horror story inspired by fairy tale elements, costumes are an important part of creating a universe that is both strange and familiar.

In the series of clips officially announcing the creation of five key characters, including: Cam (actor Lam Thanh My), Tam (actor Rima Thanh Vy), stepmother (actor Thuy Diem), biological father Tam Cam - Hai Hoang (actor Quoc Cuong), crown prince (Hainan). With these clips, for the first time, Vietnamese cinema has characters from the screen "swinging trend" transforming - a trending video trend that has become a popular video platform for young people.

The Cam team shared costumes as one of the important factors that the team focused on and invested in particularly. According to the producer, the costumes in the film are inspired by ancient Vietnamese costumes.

The styles of four-body, five-body, hand-to-hand, heroine, antagonist, hat of the tiger, brooch, jade boi, imperial uniform, and official hat are all delicately inserted in the most realistic direction. The team consulted with historical advisor Phan Thanh Nam to balance creativity and details of Vietnamese identity.
