Singer Nhu Hao: Quit singing and settled in the US, divorced her husband twice, how is her life now?

After the brilliant halo, Nhu Hao - First prize winner of the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest 1992 faced the imperfections in her personal life. She had two broken marriages and is currently a single mother.

Nhu Hao was born in 1972 in Tay Ninh. Inheriting genes from her father, painter Tran Dinh Kha, who was also talented in singing and playing the guitar, Nhu Hao showed her artistic talent quite early.

Nhu Hao once participated in the contest "Tay Ninh's Good Singing Voice" and won second prize. That year, musician Xuan Hong was the judge. Thanks to this opportunity, Nhu Hao was introduced by the late musician to work at the Military Region 7 Art Troupe in 1991. During this time, the female singer also improved her vocal technique from many teachers who were lecturers at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

In 1992, Nhu Hao won first prize in the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest. Thanks to her beautiful appearance and beautiful voice, Nhu Hao's musical career blossomed.

She is in demand and famous for a series of revolutionary love songs by musicians Xuan Hong, Pham Minh Tuan, Vu Trong Hoi, Truong Quang Luc, Hoang Hiep or love songs by Trinh Cong Son, Thanh Tung, Phu Quang, Pham Trong Cau...

Recalling the peak of her career, the singer shared: "I never thought of myself as a star or an important figure. And nothing much has changed except for singing more and appearing more on stage and in music venues."

One of the most precious memories for Nhu Hao was when she performed at universities. She was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and excitement of the students. What is noteworthy is that the photo of the female singer performing in 1997 was taken by a student, but only recently sent to her via social media. The female singer said she appreciates the love the audience has for her.

"This photo was not taken by me, but by a student in 1997. Later, he sent it to me via Facebook and said: 'I am the one who took this photo and kept it until now. I really love my singer from the past and still do until now'. I really cherish the photo and thank the audience for their love for me," the singer recounted.

At the peak of her career, Nhu Hao suddenly got married and left the Military Region 7 Art Troupe. In 2000, she moved to the US and has been there ever since. She left the stage to spend time taking care of her family.

The singer said: "I want to devote all my heart and soul to my own family. When I made that choice, I had to change completely. From a singer who loved to dance, I became a housewife."

Missing her job, the kitchen and bedroom all became stages for the 7x female singer. "Sometimes when I'm shopping and hear music, I dance along despite the people around me looking at me," Nhu Hao confided.

Although she devoted herself to her family, the singer could not maintain her happiness. She once bitterly said "man proposes, God disposes". At the time of her failed first marriage, Nhu Hao was still quite young so she confidently continued. When her second marriage also fell apart, the singer "realized" many things.

"I'm still moving forward, still confident, but I'm still a "bird afraid of the curved branch". I have to change my thinking according to different ages," Nhu Hao expressed.

It is the painful experiences, the failures in the past, the emotional breakdowns that make Nhu Hao more mature, more grown up so that "when angry or her ego is too big, she can control herself, know how to change herself to suit the other person. Thanks to previous experiences, I learned many things for my future life", the female singer added.

After 10 years of stopping her career to seek happiness, the female singer still had to sadly exclaim that "happiness is too much of a luxury for me".

After two failed marriages, Nhu Hai returned to art. She confided that, at her most tragic moments, music was the medicine that healed her heart and lifted her up.

"For many people, music is a medicine to heal the heart, but for me, it not only heals the heart but also motivates me to try in every situation and problem in life. During that time, I mostly relied on myself," the singer said.

After a period of recovering from the breakdown in her love life, singer Nhu Hao decided to regain her own glory. On the first day of returning to the stage after more than 10 years of hiatus, the 7x singer "burst" when she was still warmly welcomed by the audience.

Như Hảo happily said: "When I appeared on stage after many years of hiatus, I was surprised that the audience still remembered me, they even sent me messages of encouragement. Then I realized, that was the motivation for me to continue my singing career until now."
