After the report at Bach Mai Hospital, the moment Bich Ngoc could not hide her slump and choking up when mentioning the victims who died in the fire made everyone sad and sympathetic.

It is known that after a serious mini-apartment fire in Khuong Ha Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, the authorities decided to prosecute the case, prosecute the exhaustion and issue a temporary arrest warrant for Nghiem Quang Minh (SN 1979) who is the owner of this apartment complex on charges related to violating fire protection regulations.

At the same time, the authorities will provide support for people to overcome the consequences after the fire, provide temporary housing, 6-month rent for people affected by the fire. For each deceased victim, the government will provide VND 42 million per person, in case the injured will be supported VND 12.4 million per person.

After the mini-apartment fire tragedy, the Ministry of Public Security sent a telegram to the Police Department of Fire Protection and Rescue and Rescue (Fire Protection & Rescue) and local police on improving the efficiency of state management of fire prevention and fighting.

Specifically, on the evening of 13/9, the Ministry of Public Security sent the power of the Department of Fire Protection and Technology together with the police of other provinces and cities, to enhance the effectiveness of the management and implementation of fire prevention and fighting measures from local authorities.

The Ministry of Public Security particularly emphasizes the importance of handling fire and explosion situations quickly and minimizing human and property casualties, especially for crowded housing such as mini-apartments and rental service businesses.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, despite many instructions from the Secretariat, the Government and the Prime Minister on the implementation of fire prevention and fighting, the actual situation at the facility, especially at the grassroots level, still has many limitations and fire and explosion incidents continue and are complicated.

The mini-apartment fire in Hanoi has caused a significant loss of life, and the Ministry of Public Security assesses that this poses major challenges in managing fire safety.

Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security has asked provincial police to continue to work closely with the media and local authorities to strengthen propaganda and educate people about fire prevention and rescue knowledge and skills. These contents will be communicated through means such as Zalo and Facebook, and through direct training and guidance on fire fighting and escape plans for all households and workers in crowded housing types such as mini apartments and rental service businesses.

Accordingly, the provincial police will also support local authorities to organize a general inspection and review of fire safety requirements for mini-apartments and rental service businesses with dense occupancy, and propose urgent measures to improve safety in these types of housing.
