Actor Long Vu, Van Dung's son, is gaining attention for playing the role of "young master" Chai in the movie Di Giua Troi Ruc Ro. Actually, I was the one who encouraged her to compete, because she was pretty and tall but shy, so the two of us competed together to gain confidence.

That year, Van Dung achieved Top 15 while her sister advanced to the Top 10 of the season. Coming out of a beauty pageant, Van Dung focused on developing her acting career while her sister Van Trang pursued her passion for the culinary business quite successfully."
