Before her death, Baba Vanga made prophecies about the year 2024, including issues related to natural disasters. And now, her predictions have gradually come true.
Recently, Saostar posted information with the title: "Shivering before the prophecy of Mrs. Vanga related to superstorm Milton" with the content: After superstorm Helene, millions of Americans are "holding their breath" before superstorm Milton, expected to make landfall in Florida on October 9 (local time).
Milton is considered the strongest superstorm on the planet with many unpredictable developments, considered "the worst disaster in the past 100 years". Before this superstorm made landfall, many people could not help but shudder when reviewing the prophecies of Ms. Vanga, especially the forecast for this year.
According to the blind Bulgarian prophet, in 2024, natural disasters will increase and occur continuously. Specifically, Vanga predicted that humanity will witness a significant increase in extreme weather phenomena such as: Storms, floods, droughts, tsunamis... She said that climate change will continue to develop complicatedly, causing many unpredictable consequences.
Up to now, it can be seen that the blind prophet's predictions have gradually become reality when climate change has caused countless extreme weather phenomena in the world. And the strongest superstorm on the planet Milton making landfall in the United States seems to be one of the things she wanted to mention.
Prior to Milton, the Atlantic hurricane season had three Category 4 or higher storms, including Hurricane Kirk, Hurricane Helene, and Superstorm Beryl. This is truly a rare occurrence and a warning from "Mother Nature" about human-caused climate change. Global warming is the key to increasing extreme weather events.
Hurricane Milton officially made landfall in the city of Siesta Key with winds of 193 km/h, equivalent to Category 3 on the US 5-level hurricane scale, at around 8:30 p.m. on October 9 (7:30 a.m. on October 10, Hanoi time). Milton maintained its storm intensity as it moved through central Florida until the morning of October 10. This is the fifth hurricane to make landfall in the US this year.
Heavy rain, strong winds and a deadly tornado have been hitting Florida since before the storm made landfall. A "high wind" warning has been issued for the Tampa area, the most severe, emergency level of wind warning, which is described as an "extremely dangerous, life-threatening situation."
"Take cover now. Treat the incoming high winds as a tornado and move to a safe shelter. Take immediate action to save your life," the Tampa weather service said.
Storm surge forecasts are 3-4 meters for Sarasota, 2-3 meters for Tampa and 2.5-3.5 meters for Fort Myers. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) recorded waves as high as 8.5 meters at a location about 75 kilometers from the storm's center.
âA lot of people will die if the sea level rises 12 to 15 feet,â Bradenton Mayor Gene Brown said. In Sarasota, the rains are getting heavier, the streets are deserted, most businesses are closed and sandbags are stacked in front of them for protection.
The Weather Channel reports that tornadoes are expected to occur in central and southern Florida. "This is the time to shelter in place. People should stay indoors unless there is a life-threatening situation," the National Weather Service warns.
At the time, airports in Tampa and Sarasota were also closed until further notice. Sarasota County Sheriff Rex Troche said flooding would destroy buildings damaged by Helene. "My biggest concern is that the water levels are starting to rise. I'm extremely concerned about storm surges like that, it's very dangerous," National Weather Service Director Ken Graham said.
Also on this day, VnExpress newspaper published an article with the title: "Hurricane Milton hits Florida, winds of 193 km/h". The content reported by the newspaper is as follows: St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson said several people were killed at Spanish Lakes Country Club after a tornado devastated the area, but did not provide further details.
On Florida's east coast, emergency responders are on the scene following reports of tornadoes in Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said at least 19 tornadoes have touched down in Florida and 116 tornado warnings have been issued across the state. Nine flash flood and storm surge warnings have been issued, with more to come. "It's too dangerous to evacuate right now. People need to stay put and seek shelter," he added.
Earlier on October 8, experts at the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) recorded video flying into the eye of the storm to collect data to improve storm forecasting and support research on it. "This is work, very important work," said NOAA expert Nick Underwood.
While satellite data has greatly improved our ability to spot hurricanes before they form, there are still some important hurricane forecasting tasks that this technology cannot perform. As a result, the most effective way to gather critical information about hurricanes is by airplane, and the professionals who do this are called âhurricane hunters.â
Baba Vanga is known as a blind Bulgarian prophet. At the age of 12, she was swept away by a tornado and lost her sight. However, since then, she has had the ability to predict the future.
Vanga became famous and many people began to believe in her since she predicted events happening in the world, typically: the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the death of Princess Diana, the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack that changed America, the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Trump's assassination...
