Stephen Full, the actress' husband, told Deadline: "There was a hole in the soul of the family today. Annie found magic in the simplest of moments. She didn't need music to dance. She taught us not to wait for an opportunity, but to look for it because it's everywhere."

The actress appeared on 24 for two seasons, before taking on a number of other television roles throughout her career, including the lead role of Julia Brasher in Bosch. In 2013, Wersching voiced the PlayStation classic The Last of Us, which has since spawned a hit HBO series of the same name. More recently, she played Queen Borg in Star Trek: Picard.
Her co-star - Abigail Spencer - shared a heartbreaking post about the friend on Instagram. "Annie Wersching was my arch-nemesis in Timeless. This is a heavy loss for us. Sending you and the boys lots of love and support."
Neil Druckmann, co-president of Naughty Dog - the game company behind The Last of Us - wrote his own tribute to Wersching on Twitter. "I just learned of the death of my dear friend Annie Wersching," he wrote. "We just lost an artist and a beautiful person. My heart is broken. My thoughts now go out to her loved ones."
At the end of his tribute, Druckmann shared a link to a GoFundMe page created to support Wersching's family. Speaking of the fundraiser, organizer Ever Carradine wrote that Wersching was "a private person" and her cancer diagnosis in the summer of 2020 added to that. The purpose of the fundraiser is to help the actress's family take care of her 3 young children.
Annie Wersching and actor Stephen Full married in 2009. Their wedding was held at their home in Los Angeles. They both gave birth to three sons. The news that the actress passed away was announced and her husband, Stephen Full - also an actor, announced on his personal page: "The passing of Annie Wersching is a great loss for our family.
