Meanwhile, Chelsea Manalo (Miss Universe Philippines), the beauty who was highly rated and had the highest qualifying score in the region, stopped at the call of her name in the Top 12.

On social media platforms, netizens expressed regret for the Philippines' final position in this year's competition. Some even said that the president's announcement of a Top 30 beauty with a higher score than the current 3rd runner-up Miss Universe was like "throwing cold water" on Thailand.

At the end of the contest, the titles of Miss Universe 2024 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th runner-up were respectively awarded to beauties from Nigeria (Chidimma Adetshina), Mexico (María Fernanda Beltrán), Thailand (Suchata Chuangsri), and Venezuela (Ileana Márquez).
