After the incident of a school of fish jumping out of Linh Dam Lake, a clip has appeared on social networks recording the surprising scene in the field after a heavy rain; attracting attention and discussion from the public.
Recently, netizens are passing around a clip recording a rare scene in a field after a rain. Accordingly, when the rainwater flooded the field, crabs suddenly emerged, swimming freely in large numbers. Not only did they simply appear, they also gathered together in flocks on the green rice fields, making everyone admire and enjoy.
The clip has attracted the attention of many netizens after being posted. Many people speculate that after the cool rain, the crabs came out of their burrows to find food. Others call this a rare sight, a sign of good luck.
In addition, some netizens humorously left comments advising the homeowner to prepare hot rice, eggplant and jute for a delicious meal with crabs from the fields. Some people were astute enough to discover that they might be crabs, not crabs. But whether crabs or crabs, they are both rustic delicacies that everyone loves.
"It's been 28 years since I knew crabs could swim!"; "So cute but delicious"; "A rare sight that will bring good luck"; "Bringing out a basket to catch them will make you fall in love"; "The crab hotpot is irresistibly delicious"; "Seeing the crabs swimming makes me happy"... are comments from the online community.
On the other hand, the sight of crabs swimming in groups in the middle of a field after the rain not only brings surprise but also creates small joys for viewers, contributing to enriching unique moments in rural life, far from urban life.
This is also a testament to the fun and spontaneity that nature can bring, making people feel closer to and love their homeland more.
In contrast to the excitement of seeing crabs swimming, the phenomenon of a large school of fish jumping out of the water in Linh Dam Lake previously made many people panic and fear that it was an "omen" of an upcoming earthquake or storm.
Specifically, on the evening of September 18, social networks spread a clip recorded by people at Linh Dam Lake (Hoang Liet Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi) about a large school of fish jumping out of the water continuously for a long time, surprising people.
"Last night, right after receiving information recorded by people and posted online, many opinions said that the lake was polluted, moss and algae... lacked oxygen at the bottom layer, causing such a phenomenon. However, we sent staff and went directly around Linh Dam Lake. By our senses, Linh Dam Lake's water is clear and not polluted.
Linh Dam Lake was once discharged with waste oil flowing from the sewer area in Dai Kim ward. We also went to record but there was no phenomenon. We are not sure why this phenomenon occurred but confirm that it is not due to lake pollution," said the leader of Hoang Liet ward People's Committee.
According to Dan Viet reporters, on the morning of September 19, Linh Dam Lake was quiet, many people still regularly came here to sightsee, relax, walk, exercise... A corner of the lake also used a pump to create oxygen for the fish.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Kim Van Tieu, former Deputy Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) affirmed that the school of fish jumping out of the water in Linh Dam Lake is just a normal phenomenon.
"At night, fish like light, so they come to the surface and follow schools. When there is movement, fish jump up, it is just a phenomenon, a normal behavior of fish. Sometimes when we row a boat to an area with many fish, they automatically jump out of the water. They sense it, so when one fish jumps, the whole school immediately jumps up.
Many people think that it is due to lack of oxygen at the bottom, pollution, earthquakes, storms, etc. I think it is not true. For example, in the South, many places train fish to eat. When food is thrown, the fish immediately jump out of the water," Mr. Tieu emphasized.
