How much does youth cost? Audience wants to stop watching even though it just aired, disappointed with the cast

Airing on prime time on VTV3, the TV series Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu was expected to continue the success of Di Giua Troi Ruc Ro which aired before. However, the series did not win the hearts of the audience as expected.

After the movie Di Giua Troi Ruc Ro ended, VTV3's 8pm time slot introduced a new work called Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu. The film brings together a cast of young actors from the South, who have never appeared on VTV's prime time. Because of this, since the release of the first posters and trailers, Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu has caused many mixed opinions.

Many audiences expect the film to bring a breath of fresh air, while others do not have much faith in this unfamiliar cast (although in fact some of them have some acting experience).

Currently, Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu has aired the first few episodes and unfortunately, the audience's reaction is not very positive. The film received many negative comments because the script, dialogue, staging, and filming style created a feeling of unprofessionalism, not like a mainstream TV series. Many comments said that Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu looked like a short film for the internet, not suitable for broadcasting on VTV's prime time slot.

Meanwhile, the main cast was criticized for their unnatural acting and their appearance being a bit "old" compared to the characters they played. There were even many negative comments, saying that they could not watch the movie for even 10 minutes.

How Much Does Youth Cost? revolves around the journey of Kien (played by Doan The Vinh). Kien is a university student who intends to start a business but is constantly harmed by his stepfather and half-sister. Despite all the difficulties, Kien does not give up and continues to strive to succeed.

During that journey, Kien met many good friends. The group together experienced moments from suffering to glory of youth. From the title to the content described by the producer, the film is expected to bring a strong breath of youth, healing the soul of the viewer.

However, contrary to the audience's expectations, Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu was criticized for many different reasons as soon as it aired. First, the main cast appeared much older than the image of university students.

The film brings together a cast of young faces from the Southern region such as Doan The Vinh, Truong Quoc Bao, Ngo Hai Nam, Nhung Gumiho, Luong Anh Ngoc, Ngan Hoa,... Notably, the acting of the cast is not really impressive, no different from "trying to act young". In which, the male lead Doan The Vinh has the least acting experience. He is famous as a TikToker, mainly acting in short film projects shown online and is a relatively unfamiliar face to television audiences.

Besides Doan The Vinh, the film also features Ngo Hai Nam, Nhung Gumiho, Luong Anh Ngoc, Ngan Hoa, etc. These are all new faces, without much previous experience.

In fact, right from the character poster before the show aired, a part of the audience was skeptical about the cast's acting. Until the first episodes of the show were shown, the audience's worries became reality. With the same producer, gathering the same young faces, Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu could not avoid being compared to the previous project, Di Giua Troi Ruc Ro.

Despite facing mixed opinions from the second half of the film, it cannot be denied that Long Vu - Thu Ha Ceri's film has done better, causing a stir from the first episodes. Audiences expect that the Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu crew will listen to suggestions from groups, to make appropriate adjustments for the upcoming episodes.

Tuoi Tre Gia Bao Nhieu is expected to be 60 episodes long, and is currently airing episode 5, as of the evening of October 25. New developments in the show continue to air at 8pm every Monday to Friday on VTV3.
