T. said the clip was filmed during a system training session in Hanoi. T.'s team lost after participating in a game because someone was dishonest. T. had to take the punishment because she was the team leader. The purpose of shooting rubber bands is to let the team members understand that when they make a mistake, the leader will be the one to take the punishment. That helps the members sympathize and share with the leader.

Regarding the controversial clip, T. said that the online community is thinking negatively, using harsh words even though this is normal in system training. It is a challenge for those participating in the training, a lesson that only those in the system business can understand.

On the evening of September 23, a social media account claiming to be the CEO of a cosmetics company claimed to be the "boss in the video". The female protagonist said she had participated in a team training program for the sales team.

"In the show, there was a rubber band shooting game to illustrate the power of the team, solidarity and the disadvantage of the leader, and this game really touched the emotions of everyone participating" - the female protagonist in the video spoke up.

According to this person, those who do not attend the program do not understand the context and purpose of the game.

Recently, some units and brands that sell cosmetics and functional foods through a system often organize training sessions for leaders, impart sales experience, increase sales... The training sessions apply sensational methods such as piggybacking each other on rose branches, shooting rubber bands at wrists...

According to Dan Tri, economic expert Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Trong Thinh, senior lecturer at the Academy of Finance, said that stepping on rose branches, shooting rubber bands into hands... are not methods to improve business efficiency or raise awareness of career or effort.

"These challenges only hurt the self-esteem and self-respect of the participants in the training process, and are not related to the individual's activities or the business process of a unit. I find it an inappropriate training method, degrading the dignity of others," said Mr. Thinh.
