Tra My: Absent from the runway because of marriage, comes back stronger in The New Mentor

Tra My is not too strange face at domestic fashion catwalks. However, she faded when her name did not stand out much after reaching the runner-up of VN Next Top Model. That's why she decided to try again at The New Mentor.

Tra My, whose full name is Nguyen Tra My, won the runner-up prize in Vietnam's Next Top Model 2011. Tra My owns a height of 1m80 with a body measurement of 82-63-90 and a lovely, energetic face. The model is expected to become a new generation vedette of the Vietnamese fashion village, but over the past time she rarely performs catwalks, sometimes participates in a few showbiz events.

Tra My was born in a family of 3 sisters. Although I am the oldest sister in the family, I still love to work since childhood to enlist the affection of my parents and grandparents. Having a mother who is a seamstress, in the old days, I was always a child model, trying on the clothes that her mother sewn.

My childhood was associated with pretty dresses, uniform shirts made by her mother's own hands. So fascinated that Tra My also dreamed of later growing up to become a good seamstress like her mother.

When asked about the origin of the name Tra My, the 20-year-old laughed. The day she was born, her grandfather saw that there were beautiful camellia flowers blooming in the garden, so he always gave his granddaughter the name of this very fresh flower.

The person who resembles the name, the older Tra My is, the more she attracts the other person with her bright smile. She confided that in her grandparents' house she loved her the most. In the old days of her house in Nam Dinh, he used to take her to the field to play. She loved running with him on the levee and sneaking up on golden snails to bring back and release them into the aquarium.

Going to Hanoi to go to school, My was always teased as a boy because she always had short hair and only liked to wear boy clothes. Tra My's mother saw this, so she only made dresses or dresses for her daughter to wear. At level 3, she became even more aggressive when she joined the school's basketball team and also joined a street hip hop dance group.

Such a strong personality and "huge" height make her peers afraid, so during her schooling, she admitted to never receiving any confessions.

Once considered too childish personality, along with a pretty face, she is more suitable for beauty pageants. But Tra My gradually conquered the judges and the audience with her efforts and spectacular makeover in the episodes near the end.

She is praised for her varied transformation in each individual concept, although the sweetness in her own person is still increasing every day.

An amateur model since the age of 17, Tra My - a student at Hanoi University of Business and Technology. After winning the runner-up prize of the Vietnam Model Contest in 2011, Tra My became an impressive face of the Vietnamese catwalk village and on behalf of the young Vietnamese model generation came to London to participate in the Top Model Worldwide 2012 contest with more than 40 models from other countries around the world.

She is marked by beauty and youthfulness, loveliness. After the contest, Tra My participated in modeling for a while. She also tried her hand at film with the film Single in her 30s. Tra My officially went public with her lover in mid-2014. According to Tra My, her boyfriend's name is Hoang Dao, 15 years older than her (Tra My was born in 1992) and he is currently working in the field of communication.

Tra My and Zodiac met when the model went to casting Vietnam's Next Top Model when she was 18 years old. Information about Tra My having an elderly boyfriend has been around since September 2013 when she was spotted with the Zodiac attending an event.
