Immortal Love is criticized as "the worst on earth", the top 1 rating nationwide is ridiculous

Immortal Love is a drama currently airing on THVL channel and has been consistently at the top of the Vietnamese entertainment program ratings chart for many weeks. However, in contrast to its admirable achievements, the plot of the drama has been criticized for being tedious and frustrating.

According to the audience, Immortal Love has a content quite similar to the old Korean series such as child swapping, misunderstanding, evil female supporting character plotting to harm the female lead. Due to the old content, the audience feels bored and lacks novelty.

In addition, the film makes viewers uncomfortable because the main characters always misunderstand each other, are controlled by the supporting character Linh (Thuy Diem), and plot to harm them. This one-sided attack makes viewers angry.

In fact, the current trend in watching movies is that the female lead and characters are smarter, know how to fight for their rights, and do not have to suffer and endure. That is the strong rise of feminism. Audiences who watch movies with strong, talented, even mean female leads will feel comfortable and refreshed. Therefore, content like Immortal Love is no longer popular with viewers.

Not only that, Immortal Love has lasted for more than 70 episodes and has no ending, making the audience discouraged. Previously, the audience had high expectations for this project because the film gathered a cast of actors who regularly appeared on the small screen and were loved such as Anh Tai, Tuong Vy, Thuy Diem, Thanh Thuc, Thanh Hien, Trinh Kim Chi.

Many opinions say that the main characters are too stupid, immature, and have abnormal thoughts and reactions. Letting the characters be resentful and patient from episode to episode without any strong actions of resistance or fighting for their rights makes Immortal Love difficult to create sympathy.

"Why are the characters in the movie so naive?", "The more I watch, the more I find the movie long-winded and frustrating", "I don't understand what the screenwriter was thinking when he let the female supporting character act so wildly, overshadowing the main character, and manipulating everyone by herself", are some of the comments from the audience. Previously, Immortal Love caused controversy because of a series of errors such as the same character but having 2 voiceovers, or Tuong Vy appearing instead of the previous female lead, Hong Loan, even though the two had obvious differences in body shape.

In episode 26 of Immortal Love, Linh (Thuy Diem) was caught replacing Lam (Anh Tai) as the heir to Thy's (Hong Loan) property. However, during the argument between Linh and Mrs. Thuy (Ngan Quynh), the "green tea" cleverly turned the situation around, causing Mrs. Thuy to have a heart attack. Immediately, she realized that this was an opportunity to cover up her crime related to Thy's departure.

Seeing her son constantly drowning in pain, drowning in alcohol all night, Mrs. Ngoc (NSND Trinh Kim Chi) tried to stop and wake her son up. But all seemed to have no effect. While drunk, Lam (Anh Tai) unconsciously rushed to Thy's (Hong Loan) house and stubbornly believed that she still existed in this world. Chau helped him wake up to the cruel truth. Lam was shocked to the point of fainting when his angry mother-in-law chased him away.

Mr. and Mrs. Minh (Khuong Thinh) were informed by Mrs. Thuy (Ngan Quynh) that Lam had secretly prepared inheritance papers to take Thy's property, so they immediately searched for the culprit. Because they knew for sure that Lam never had such evil intentions. Immediately, Linh (Thuy Diem) was caught arbitrarily replacing Lam as the heir to take over the property. With no way to deny it, she tried to act around the situation to cover up her own daring actions.

Meanwhile, Lam was cleared by Chau with Mrs. Thuy from the affair to the property seizure. Mr. Minh (Khuong Thinh) also called to clearly explain to his mother-in-law the matter related to Thy's property. Vaguely realizing who the culprit was, Mrs. Thuy called Linh to her house to expose her as the mastermind behind Thy's death. From a passive position, Linh quickly turned the situation around. While the two were struggling, Mrs. Thuy suddenly had a heart attack. For Linh, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Linh to eliminate the consequences and cover up the cruel truth about herself related to Uyen Thy's death.
