Recently on her personal page, Le Phuong posted a photo with Luong The Thanh along with a status recording their special relationship in the movies they acted together.

"10 years ago, they were mother and son in the movie Battle of the Eight Trigrams, 10 years later, they became husband and wife in Fate, and then in Ghost of Happiness, he is still an exemplary husband and loyal to others!", Le Phuong wrote.

The "age-hacking" photo of the two received many compliments because the makeup, hair and fashion style all made the two actors look decades younger. Under Le Phuong's post, Luong The Thanh also humorously commented: "Two young children, don't tell us to laugh out loud, we're only 25 years old". Recalling the mother-daughter relationship in the old movie Tran Do Bat Quai, Le Phuong humorously compared: "10 years later as husband and wife, it turns out that we're aging backwards!".

In the photo, the two of them are very well-matched, making fans eagerly wait for the new work where they will be paired together on screen again. Many viewers left comments that they were impressed with the movie Tran Do Bat Quai, in which Le Phuong played the role of Luong The Thanh's mother.

Le Phuong once shared that she had to turn down the role in this film 3 times because she was afraid that she "couldn't handle" the character's heavy psychological burden. It took 2 months after the film finished filming for the actress to be able to get out of the role. Although they are the same age, Le Phuong and Luong The Thanh play mother and son, the only difference is in the makeup. Because of that, the two cannot avoid feeling shy in the scenes showing mother and son affection.

"When Phuong stroked my hair and cheeks, we both felt embarrassed. Playing the role of a couple was not difficult for us, but we were the same age, one played the mother, one played the child, it felt unnatural," Luong The Thanh once shared.

Le Phuong was also embarrassed when playing the role of the mother of her close co-star in real life. The character she plays in Tran Do Bat Quai is a girl who was tricked before getting married. Luong The Thanh plays the son who is the result of this heartbreaking incident, later discovers the truth, and is put in prison by his adoptive father.

As Le Phuong shared, after 10 years, the on-screen son transformed into a husband in the play Duyên Thê. The work brings the audience back to the life of the old Saigon people with the love story of the young man Vo Như Bình (Lương Thế Thành) with the beautiful, talented girl Lê Huyền (Lê Phương). The two became husband and wife, had a young son. Lê Huyền struggled to raise her husband and children, wanting to help her husband succeed in his career. Unexpectedly, when he became a famous interpreter, went to Can Tho to work, Như Bình deceived his wife and children to marry a rich woman who had been married before and had 2 children from previous marriages.

This year, Le Phuong and Luong The Thanh reunited in the project Phantom of Happiness.
