Before coming to the beauty contest, Bui Thi Thanh Thuy and Nguyen Thuy Vi had to go through a difficult time, self-deprecating because they were negatively commented on their appearance.

Accordingly, Bui Thi Thanh Thuy is a contestant in the top 45 of Miss Grand Vietnam - Miss Peace Vietnam 2023. She was born in 1997, a native of Phu Yen, 1.68m tall with a measurement of 3 rounds of 86-64-94 cm respectively and graduated in Vocal Music - Performance at HCMC Conservatory of Music.

When asked about the purpose of coming to the competition, Thanh Thuy said: "I want to use my energy and passion to show determination and bravery. Together with other contestants, create a meaningful youth, become the next girl to spread, contribute meaningful messages and bring many positive values to the community".

At the same time, the beauty Phu Yen also shared that, before participating in the national beauty arena, she experienced the most difficult period of her life, which was to face criticism and disparagement because of her urban appearance.

After that, Qing Shui did not stop to overcome it by, bravely facing difficulties, seeing them as an opportunity to grow. From there, she began to actively practice, focus on her strengths and assert her self-worth.

As proof of this, she excellently won the "Talented Beauty" award at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 with her powerful voice. Thanh Thuy is currently a freelance singer, touring many places in the country. Despite the nature of her work, she has to move often, even lose sleep, but she never falters and is determined to dedicate herself to the audience.

Her family has always been the driving force to help Thanh Thuy overcome difficulties and challenges in life and she is very proud to be loved and enthusiastically supported by them. "From a young age I witnessed the patience and kindness of my parents. My family taught me to always strive, be independent, not give up on my dreams and respect everyone around me," she said.

Not only beautiful, singing well, she is also a coach at the Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation. Thanh Thuy said that he is a person with great ambitions, wants to become a true artist, contribute impressive works and programs, leave a special mark in the hearts of fans.
