Artist Thanh Duong (SN 1968) is an actor of the Youth Theater. He was fortunately born into a family with parents and brothers both doing art. His father is the stage director Hoang Thanh Giang, so it is only natural for him to follow the acting profession.

At the age of 9, artist Thanh Duong moved with his family to Saigon to live. After graduating from Khanh Hoa College of Culture and Arts, he returned to work at the Khanh Hoa youth troupe.

In 1989, artist Thanh Duong moved with his family to Hanoi again, he joined the Vietnam Youth Drama Theater and has worked there for more than 20 years now. As an actor who favors comedic roles, villains with personality, Thanh Duong always leaves everyone with a closeness and humor in the first meeting.

In the consideration for awarding the title of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist in 2018, Thanh Duong was made a profile by the Youth Theater, named in the list of Meritorious Meritorious Artists at the ministerial level, but at the State Council, the artist failed because he lacked one vote. Artist Thanh Duong shared: Before getting married, he always determined not to marry in the same industry, his wife is a foreigner with art, but she also loves art. The evidence is that the plays and movies have her husband playing, whether the main or supporting role, but she watches, even a couple of times, she even participates as a supporting actress in some films with the presence of her husband. However, what artist Thanh Duong is most proud of in his wife is that she is a woman who knows how to tidy up the house and take care of children.

Their sweet fruit is two sons "tall, more handsome than their father", obedient and polite. Both children are not interested in art, the eldest is studying information technology, the other is passionate about cooking.

"In my spare time, the whole family goes on a trip together. Going a few times a year, the house is not beautiful, but it is also there, the car is there, the job is stable," Thanh Duong said, satisfied with life at the age of 50.
