Incubation period 2-21 days, onset with high fever, headache, malaise, then diarrhea, abdominal pain, cramps, nausea, vomiting, bleeding. There is no vaccine or specific treatment for the disease.

Therefore, the Ministry of Health requires monitoring of people on entry at border gates, communities and medical facilities, early detection and testing of suspected cases for isolation, treatment, and epidemiological investigation. Particularly for people entering from countries with epidemics in Africa, monitoring within 21 days.

Last week, the Ministry of Health announced the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Plan 2023, stating that the Covid-19 epidemic and other infectious diseases are still basically under control.
