Taylor Swift's victory at this year's awards season helped the female singer increase her total number of Billboard Music Awards trophies in her career to 49, officially becoming the artist with the most BBMAs awards in history, surpassing the previous record holder, Drake, with 39 awards.

Billboard also quickly posted a video looking back at the "country princess"'s journey at the BBMAs over the years. This further shows how influential the female singer is to the music industry. It must be admitted that 2024 was an extremely successful year for her at the music awards.

Before becoming the artist with the most awards in the history of the Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift also set a similar record at the 2024 Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs), held last September.
