Taeheon (ZE:A): Male idol worked at a construction site, loading and unloading for a living, but his family abandoned him

Taeheon said he could not continue working in showbiz after being discharged from the army: "When I was discharged, the entertainment industry completely changed, there was nothing left for me. So, I no longer had a choice." nothing else but rest."

The male singer revealed that two years ago he worked at a construction site but that job was not enough to make ends meet: "After being discharged from the army, I had no job, life became difficult so I had to I worked at a bar. I used to live in a semi-detached house. About 2 years ago, I started working at a construction site. Life was so difficult that I didn't dare turn on the heat. Then I got a skin disease and didn't have enough money to pay Should I take a cold shower? I was so broke that I ate a package of noodles split in half." Taeheon's sharing surprised many people because they did not expect that after the glamor on stage, idols find themselves in such a difficult situation if they are not famous or have no job.

Kim Taeheon shared that he used to work in the shipping and handling department of a shopping application. However, a part of the audience thought that Taeheon's work as a loader was "smearing" ZE:A's honor. These criticisms made the male rapper quite sad, he said: "I'm going to work to earn money." "If you live, why do you have to receive so much criticism? Going to work is not something to be ashamed of."

Currently, the former ZE:A member lives in a small room in Incheon City for 330,000 won (equivalent to 6 million VND). Taeheon's life is now more stable when he takes on a management position at a restaurant specializing in Chinese food.

Taeheon was born in 1989 and debuted with ZE:A in 2010. Despite having different careers after the group stopped working, the ZE:A members are still close to each other. The more famous members still extend their arms to help Taeheon.

Former idol Taeheon shared: "I used to be very jealous of Si Wan, but realized he was very diligent, studying every page of the script every day. Only Si Wan could do that. Dongjun and Kwanghee also So, I'm very grateful to the members. They all contacted me first, sent me messages of encouragement, and even sent me money."

Before being in a difficult situation like today, he also had a painful past due to family problems. On the program Scoop World, he also revealed his tragic family situation: "My father was a businessman. He died in a car accident while running a factory. My mother was very miserable but had to work day and night to maintain her life and pay off her debt. 7 years later, she left me because of breast cancer." Taeheon was so miserable that he couldn't bear to send his mother's ashes to the temple or to a memorial place, because he wanted her warmth to still be close by.

When he joined the army, his only remaining relative also abandoned him. While in the army, he asked for leave to visit his sister, but after being discharged, Taeheon could no longer contact her. The former idol sighed: "In some ways, I think it's a matter of money. The store that she saved for many years to open went bankrupt. I lost contact with my sister and it's been 8 years. People are more important than money, losing money doesn't mean losing everything." Taeheon expressed his wish to see his sister again after many years of separation.

Last June, Taeheon celebrated his new birthday. He said that fellow group member Kwanghee contacted and encouraged him: "In June, it was my birthday. And Kwanghee contacted me! He said, 'I hope you don't struggle too much.' He said that all the ZE:A members are thinking of me.

He also told me not to give up, because he trusted me a lot and he knew that I was a diligent person. And then he sent me some cash as a birthday gift!", Taeheon confided.

ZE:A is a 9-member boy band, founded in 2010, by Star Empire Entertainment. The group ended the management contract with the management company in 2017, after which some members had new "landing points" to develop their careers. Although it has been inactive for a long time, up to now ZE:A has not officially disbanded. In the group, Kim Taeheon takes on the position of main rapper and vocalist.
