He continued, "Kim Sae Ron's passing feels like she was pushed to the brink. The last news I read about her was an article saying she had to work overtime due to financial difficulties. I also remember the cafe where she worked was besieged by malicious comments. How many more lives must be lost before we stop imposing destructive shame without giving them a breathing space? This is where society needs to have a serious conversation."
