Quang Hung MasterD has a rare disease, it was only revealed after 9 years, fans turned pale

Fans of Quang Hung MasterD were extremely confused by the long-hidden information of their idol, when he revealed that he had a rare disease that seriously affected his health.

As a guest on the show 2 Days 1 Night, Quang Hung MasterD said he has autonomic nervous disorder. The singer said: "I got this disease 9 years ago because I did too much DJ music and stayed in my room too much. One day I went to have an electrocardiogram and the doctor said I had autonomic nervous disorder. When I went on stage, my hands shook, but now it's better."

"When I was in my hometown, I took traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine but it didn't help. Then I moved to Ho Chi Minh City to start a business and my condition improved," he added. The male singer said the most effective way to treat the disease is to face it directly.

Part of the treatment process required Quang Hung to go out and meet and interact with many people. Since then, his condition has improved but not completely gone. He is still undergoing treatment because he has not fully recovered, only reaching over 80%.

Quang Hung MasterD's real name is Le Quang Hung, born in 1997 in Thua Thien Hue. He was noticed when participating in the show "Anh trai say hi" thanks to his friendly personality, good live singing and especially his composing ability. In the final night on September 14, Quang Hung was in the top 5 finalists, a member of the show's all-round group, alongside HIEUTHUHAI, Quang Anh Rhyder, Duc Phuc and Isaac.

Participating in "Anh trai say hi", Quang Hung MasterD expressed his happiness when reaching the final round. Throughout the journey, many songs of Quang Hung MasterD group attracted millions of views, continuously being on the trending list on YouTube Vietnam.

The song "First Love Too Much" composed by Quang Hung climbed to the number 1 spot on the trending list after only 2 weeks of broadcasting. In addition, the song "Catch Me If You Can" with lyrics written by Quang Hung received 13 million views, winning the award for Most Viewed and Listened Song at the final round of "Anh Trai Say Hi".

In the program, Quang Hung MasterD scored points with his "brothers" thanks to his wholehearted support in music production and lyrics writing. The audience commented that Quang Hung is not only multi-talented but also has a sense of responsibility when working in a group. "The days participating in the program changed me a lot. I used to be very afraid to speak, but when I met the other brothers, I was motivated and had the courage to speak my mind," he once confided.

Quang Hung MasterD officially pursued a musical career in 2011. In 2016, he began to gain attention from the audience thanks to a mash-up video of 30 of the most famous Vietnamese songs. In 2020, he released the song "Easy to Come, Easy to Go", marking an important turning point in his career. Notably, the song's less than 20-second chorus covered TikTok in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, helping Quang Hung attract a significant number of international fans.

Quang Hung MasterD once frankly shared: "Before "Easy Come, Easy Go" became popular, I had no shows, even had to ask to perform without receiving a salary". The male singer also experienced many events, from depression, the bankruptcy of his old management company, no reinvestment costs and the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on his family. He admitted that just remembering those stages was enough to haunt him.

Over the years, the male singer has frequently performed in Thailand. The first time he sang in the neighboring country, he said he was scared and overwhelmed by the reception from Thai fans. The male singer also suffered culture shock when Thai fans gave him necklaces and flowers made from money.

Despite having a large number of foreign fans, Quang Hung MasterD was previously an unfamiliar face to Vietnamese audiences, so he was nicknamed "national stepchild, international darling". Sharing about this, Quang Hung admitted that he felt a bit sad.

"I think I try very hard, I make music every day, I improve every day, but why do I receive those keywords and I don't know if I can erase keywords like "stepchild" or not.
