Public opinion was extremely outraged by the incident, Dai Nghia and some colleagues attended the event by ambulance. Facing strong reactions, the male artist officially responded.
Recently, social networks were "stirred up" by the news that the cast of the movie "Am Duong Lo", including Dai Nghia, Bach Cong Khanh, Lan Thy, Tuan Dung, Ngan Quynh, Hoang Yen... were riding an ambulance to the premiere. This action immediately caused widespread outrage when many opinions said that it was too offensive, not suitable for the real-life context and disrespectful of the nature of emergency vehicles.
By early this morning (March 28), two of the above actors had spoken out about the incident on their personal pages. Accordingly, Dai Nghia frankly said that only when he arrived did he know that he and his colleagues would be taken to the red carpet by ambulance. Because he thought this was part of the staging in the concept of a horror film, he did not question it much and did not expect this action to cause such controversy.
"The reason no one questioned it was because they thought the film crew had been filming with this car all this time, so of course they knew how to get permission for this event. When you come to such a grandly organized event, you think everything must have been asked for permission and approved.
Even though that car honked and signaled right when it got there, but even if it was only for 1 second without permission, it was still wrong. Nghia accepted to get into that car, even if he didn't know, it was still wrong. Nghia was wrong to be subjective in this matter," the male artist confided.
At the same time, Bach Cong Khanh also had a related post: "Khanh would like to send his most sincere apologies to everyone for the unfortunate incident that happened on the premiere night of the movie Am Duong Lo. Although he received an apology from the producer, Khanh realized that he still needed to apologize for his real shortcomings in not carefully considering the problem and subjectively getting into the car, causing unwanted consequences."
Previously, the producer of "The Yin Yang Road" issued a statement apologizing to all actors, agencies, groups and fans affected by the unfortunate incident. At the same time, they admitted that the staging of using an ambulance to create a stage effect was the idea of the crew, without clearly informing the artists. This unit pledged to take full responsibility.
Although the parties involved have apologized for the incident, it is still receiving harsh reactions and mixed controversies. Many people criticiz.e the cast for being too subjective and ignorant, leading to unnecessary mistakes. Others believe that the artists should be forgiven because they know they are wrong and admit their mistakes.
On the evening of March 26, social networks shared a series of videos and images recording the scene of an ambulance with a siren, blaring loudly. Security guards stood ready in front of a cinema in Cao Thang (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), lining up, making people surprised and not knowing what was happening. Many artists then walked on the red carpet, outside the audience surrounded, causing traffic congestion.
Immediately upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police - District 3 Area Team worked with BTS - the driver of the ambulance, installing the alarm siren. The agency verified the incident occurred at around 6:10 p.m. on March 26 on Cao Thang Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. The driver, born in 1983, used the ambulance 51D-330.xx in violation of regulations.
The authorities have drawn up a record and administratively fined Mr. BTS 2.5 million VND for "Driving an ambulance using a priority signaling device in violation of regulations", and at the same time revoked the vehicle's license to use the priority signaling device.
