Lục Thụ Minh - "Quan Vũ" từng bóc lịch trong tù và ân oán với Châu Tinh Trì

Evil posthumous is one of three types of posthumous titles given after death, meaning to belittle and reprimand. Quan Vu had an illustrious life and was mighty in the world. Why was Luu Thien given him the evil tree?
During the period of the Three Kingdoms' peak, the biggest change for the Shu Kingdom was when Guan Yu fell to Kinh Chau and died, which led to Liu Bei initiating the Di Lang war, wanting to avenge Guan Yu. After failing, the Thuc dynasty began to fall on the path to destruction.
Liu Shan did not like Guan Yu because Liu Shan believed that Guan Yu was the indirect cause of Liu Bei's death and caused the Shu dynasty to fall into decline. But, is everything Guan Yu's fault?
Of course not, Guan Yu's fall in Kinh Chau showed that the strategy at that time had problems, so Liu Bei and others could not help but be involved.
Guan Yu, nicknamed Van Truong, during the Yellow Turban Uprising, took refuge in Liu Bei, a veteran of "real goods at real prices" in the Liu Bei group camp. In terms of bravery, Quan Vu can behead an enemy general among ten thousand troops.
In terms of intelligence, Guan Yu is considered a famous general during the Three Kingdoms period;
Regarding his relationship with Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Liu Bei once "slept in the same bed, their love was like brothers" and their feelings were deep and harmonious;
In terms of merit, Guan Yu and Liu Bei fought in the south to defeat the north for more than 30 years, and were instrumental in defending Kinh Chau for many years;
In terms of status, after Liu Bei became the King of Han Zhong, Guan Yu was promoted to General of the Left, bestowed on Jia Tiet Viet (representing the presence of the Emperor, if the minister held Jia Tiet Viet's hand, that is, on behalf of the Emperor, symbolizing the Emperor and the nation, with executive power equivalent to the Emperor);
Regarding loyalty, when Liu Bei's life and death were unclear, Guan Yu did not change his mind because of Cao Cao's good treatment, and was always willing to support Liu Bei.
If so, then whether Liu Bei or Liu Bei's descendants should be grateful, grateful to Guan Yu, and treat him well. But Liu Bei's son, also the Later Master Liu Shan, blatantly belittled him. Why does such a thing happen?
This must be told back to the 3rd year of Canh Huy, ie 260 AD, when the Later Master Liu Thien family conferred posthumous titles (names after death) on five people: Guan Yu, Truong Phi, Ma Sieu, Hoang Trung and Trieu. Cloud.
Accordingly, Truong Phi was awarded the title Hoan Hau, the word "Hoan" means expanding the realm and territory; Ma Chao is the Marquis of Wei; Hoang Trung is Cuong Hau, the word "Uy" and "Cuong" both refer to bravery and determination; Trieu Van was given the title of Thuan Binh Marquis, the two words "Thuan Binh" refer to Trieu Van's generous, benevolent and gentle personality, but when working, he is strict, meticulous, and orderly.
That shows that all four generals were given good titles. Of course, the merits of the four generals are also worthy of posthumous posthumous titles.
After all, Truong Phi also once roared on the Duong Kieu bridge, relied on 20 cavalry to stop five thousand ferocious troops, once cleverly defeated Truong Cap, and made great achievements in the battle of Han Trung; Ma Chao threatened Liu Zhang to bow his head in fear, helping Liu Bei win Ich Chau; Hoang Trung beheaded the famous Wei general Ha Hau Uyen; Trieu Van, domestically, saved two young masters. Externally, he had a glorious record.
But whether in terms of achievements or prestige, Quan Vu was much better than the other four, but he was awarded the posthumous title.
At that time, posthumous names were divided into three types, including good, normal, and evil posthumous names, in which bad posthumous names meant the most degrading, reprimanding, and unwanted ones.
Guan Yu's "Royal Mau Hau" badge is such an evil trait.
Although the word "Trang" in the posthumous name does not have a bad meaning, the word "Mau" has an extremely bad meaning, "Mau" in the sentence "If martial arts are not successful, write mao, if martial arts are unsatisfactory, write mau, if you are famous, write mau." mau" (meaning if martial arts is not good, it is called "mau"; if martial arts is not talented, it is called "mau"; if the name is not the same as the reality, it is called "mau").
Why did Luu Thien bestow such an unfavorable word on Guan Yu's posthumous title? Regarding this question, there are some views as follows:
Guan Yu lost Kinh Chau, causing Long Trung's countermeasures to dissolve into bubbles, affecting the development and growth of the Shu Han dynasty.
At the same time, being targeted by more than a dozen famous generals and strategists from both sides, Cao Wei and Dong Ngo, it is understandable that Quan Vu lost Kinh Chau. The reality is that, but the person who caused this disaster was Quan Vu, not anyone else.
According to records, initially "Sun Quyen sent a messenger to ask for his son's daughter to marry Guan Yu. Guan Yu scolded the messenger and did not accept the engagement, making Ton Quyen angry."
Ton Quyen originally wanted to strengthen the Ton Luu alliance through intermarriage, but Quan Vu offended Ton Quyen.
But this matter was not over yet, Quan Vu himself launched the battle of Tuong Phan. Because the food was not enough, he arbitrarily took two warehouses of food from Ton Quyen. After all, Sun Quan was the monarch of Jiangdong, and being humiliated like that, even if he initially had no intention of colluding with Cao Cao, he would still be forced to choose such a path.
This means that the Sun - Cao alliance was formed by Quan Vu alone.
Indirectly killed Liu Bei and Truong Phi. After Guan Yu was captured and killed, Liu Bei completed his declaration of emperor, despite everyone's advice, resolutely raised troops to launch the Di Lang battle.
Although in the early stages of the war, Shu Kingdom attacked like a child, but in June of the following year, Luc Ton set fire to the camp, causing the situation to completely change. Liu Bei escaped death several times but in the end must be entrusted to Bach De Thanh, until death, they cannot return to Thanh Du.
Quan Vu is upright but proud. Although he is not impressed, he is extremely arrogant
Quan Vu is an extremely aggressive and arrogant person, cannot stand the fact that there are others who are better than him, and does not respect his superiors. In front of Liu Bei, he still dares to bluntly scold him.
