Coming out of the Top 10 of the program Vietnam Idol 2010, Phuong Anh created sympathy in the hearts of the audience thanks to her inspirational voice, keeping her image clean and scandal-free. In addition to her powerful voice, she also impresses with her oversized body, weighing over 100 kg.

Phuong Anh Idol real name is Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, born in 1988 in Quy Nhon. When she was a student at the University of Economics and Law, she showed her passion for singing by actively participating in extracurricular activities of the school.

In 2010, the 8x vocalist competed with the contest "Vietnam Idol - Vietnamese Musical Idol". In the audition round, Phuong Anh Idol conquered the judges with her powerful voice and confident performance style despite her limited appearance.

The female singer did not hesitate to share her not-so-sublime but effective weight loss method: "I diet and exercise. People often think that I can lose weight by using detox a lot, but actually I need 4 phases. Each person's condition is different, for me personally, in stage 1 I have to prepare first. Then I put on weight, press my body, next I have to get used to it, and the last stage is balance. I have different diet and exercise menus at all stages."

From restricting starch intake, persisting in appropriate sports and adjusting her lifestyle, she has lost more than 50 kg in more than 3 years.

Phuong Anh also revealed that the biggest fear when losing weight is friends: "I think the most difficult thing is friends. Friends often invite me to eat, drink coffee, meet each other that's all, no one Calling to ask me to go to the gym. To refuse those meetings is extremely difficult because friends have to meet each other. Every time we meet, I will go for coffee, I have to drink mineral water or something without sugar. When looking back at her own image in the mirror after losing 53kg, Phuong Anh couldn't help but be surprised: "The moment I lost about 20 kg, I felt a little different from a 106 kg person who lost 20 kg is not much but but I still want to meet and show it to my friends.My friends said they didn't see me getting sick, neither did they. Actually going from over 100 kg to over 80 kg is just a little bit. I know the next 10 kg, the next 5 kg there will be a difference in appearance, then it will be different. At that time I still bought 100kg people's clothes, I wore loose clothes so people wouldn't know if I was thin or fat. I wore that until I was older. 60 kg, at that time people saw that I was sick but when I took off the shirts for the 100 kg person, people were startled and said how could I be so sick.At that time I was also startled, because Normally I practice I don't look in the mirror I don't realize I'm sick until people say I think when I lose weight, I just look in the mirror and watch every day to see if I'm getting sick. be as effective as desired. And if you just ignore it, just focus on practicing, over time you will get it again."

The weight loss caused Phuong Anh Idol's skin to overlap and lack freshness in some places. But with a weight of just under 60 kg, she was able to comfortably wear her favorite clothes, including ao dai or tight sportswear.

She angrily said that when she was overweight, people criticized the singer for being fat, but when she became thinner, people said she looked emaciated, fierce and even liar, so they didn't like it, they preferred chubby. .
