It can be seen that in nearly 2 days from the morning of October 18 to the end of October 19, the box office revenue of "Southern Forest Land" was estimated at just over 11 billion VND. Meanwhile, before that, in just 4 days of opening the premiere, the film's revenue reached more than 54 billion VND.

Faced with this problem, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duong - Founder of Box Office Vietnam shared with Tien Phong that the film has a low theater occupancy rate, so perhaps the controversy has had a certain impact on sales. "In essence, from the beginning, we did not expect the film to be as explosive as Tran Thanh's two recent works, Nha Ba Nu and The Godfather," Mr. Duong said.

Amid the "wave" of controversy about the film, Mr. Ton Gia Van - Son-in-law of writer Doan Gioi, author of the original novel Phuong Nam Forest Land, represented the family and expressed his thoughts on the film. .
