Like a charm, Phan Hien met "teacher" Khanh Thi, Queen of Dancesport Vietnam. Phan Hien was enthusiastically guided and taught by Khanh Thi. After 2 years of hard training, Khanh Thi and Phan Hien participated in many Dancesport competitions and brought home the first glory. These are the titles of International Dancesport Master, Asian Dancesport Champion 2009 and Vietnam Dancesport Champion for 6 consecutive years.

Khanh Thi is not only a teacher, but a dance partner who always stands shoulder to shoulder with him now, regardless of stage and podium. They are a good couple and accompany her throughout domestic and international competitions. Phan Hien is also the brightest young coach in Khanh Thi's dancesport clubs.

After the success at the 31st SEA Games, Phan Hien announced to marry Khanh Thi at the end of this year.
