Pham Ly Duc is no longer a name that is too strange to Vietnamese football fans. He plays as a central defender, born in 2003 and has a height of 1m82.

The young player played impressively in his first appearance in the V.League 2024/2025.

He deserves what he showed at the beginning of the season. Hopefully, coach Kim Sang Sik will create opportunities for Ly Duc," Coach Le Quang Trai put his faith in the student at HAGL.

In the same age as Bui Vi Hao, Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Thai Son, but Ly Duc has never played for youth teams before. That's something very special.

Another interesting thing is that Ly Duc has the same name as Vietnamese bodybuilding legend Ly Duc. The two have one thing in common: a tall, stubborn physique and a strong will to rise.

According to Pham Ly Duc's sharing, he was named by his parents like the name of a famous bodybuilder with the hope that when he grows up, he will be "as healthy as Ly Duc". And in fact, Pham Ly Duc also owns a small body and is no less strong than athlete Ly Duc.
