Lan Anh has shown musical talent since the age of 4. At that time, she was the main soloist of the Nam Dinh city children's team, and won the First Prize for Golden Voice. With her clear voice, teachers and classmates gave Lan Anh the nickname "nightingale". Later, the female singer and vocal instructor became successful in genres such as chamber music, opera, Broadway musicals, traditional revolutionary music, lyrical music, bolero, and light music.

In 1994, singer Lan Anh entered the Hanoi Conservatory of Music (later the Vietnam National Academy of Music), Faculty of Vocal Music. In 1997, she won second prize at the Hanoi Great Voice Contest. In 1999, Lan Anh won the award for performing the best revolutionary song. One year later, this talented singer from Nam Dinh won first prize at the national professional opera and chamber singing competition.

In 2002, she graduated from the Vocal Music Department at the Hanoi National Conservatory of Music, transferred to graduate school due to her excellent academic achievements and was retained at the school as a lecturer.

Also in 2002, in the concert program on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of Beethoven's d.eath organized by Gacusen University, Japan, Lan Anh passed many rigorous professional examination rounds to become one of 4 soloists. and is the youngest solist to perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.

In 2006, Lan Anh graduated from the Master of Vocal Music program at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music with a performance of 16 domestic and international musical works.

Despite going through difficult times in the teaching profession, Lan Anh still holds on despite many seniors and seniors quitting the profession. Currently, she is a teacher loved by many generations of students at the music school.

Attached to the cause of education, Lan Anh has many students who won high p.rizes in professional singing competitions such as: Tan Nhan (First prize in Sao Mai contest); Thu Ha (Second prize of Sao Mai contest), Luong Hai Yen (First prize of Sao Mai) along with other talented artists such as: Tran Tung Anh, Mai Thuong. Among the famous students of Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, the special teacher-student relationship between her and singer Tan Nhan attracted public attention.

Singer Lan Anh said that she met the conditions and standards to submit an application to be considered for the title of Meritorious Artist a long time ago, but because she did not submit an application, she was not on the list several times in the past. awarded. "I have a bit of an artistic personality, so I don't care much about these things. I'm happy that this time I was awarded the same award as Tan Nhan - a younger brother and student that I love. This will be a precious memory. the memory of the two sisters," singer Lan Anh expressed.

Although known as the leading vocalist in the chamber music industry, with red music, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh is also a prominent face. In the music market, many singers choose bolero music to pursue because of better income, but Meritorious Artist Lan Anh has her own thoughts.
