Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long almost returned to the US to miss his daughter's funeral, collapsed and cried in front of his portrait.

Last night (November 18), Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long was present at the grandmother's house of his adopted daughter Kim Tieu Ly (commonly known as Ly) to attend her funeral. It is known that Ly passed away at 9am on November 18 and was immediately brought back to her hometown for the funeral.

As soon as she saw Kim Tieu Long arrive, Kim Tieu Ly's grandmother immediately came out to greet her. Because she was so shocked and heartbroken by the passing of her granddaughter, she cried out as soon as she walked towards Kim Tieu Long, collapsing on the ground. Kim Tieu Long also burst into tears and helped her up to comfort her.

However, the male artist remained calm, walked in to look at his daughter's face one last time, and then lit incense. While looking at the coffin and portrait, he was moved to tears. Kim Tieu Long stood silently next to his daughter's coffin for a long time before sitting down.

The male artist sadly said: "Ba Long is here, my daughter Kim Tieu Ly. I hope you will return to Buddha. Let's join hands to chant Buddha's name for Be Ly, everyone!". He shared: "I had to leave all my work in Saigon to come here. Tomorrow I have to film a Tet program for Vinh Long TV station, I also left it to stay here, I will make an appointment with you another time.

I stayed here until the day Ly was buried. My house was next to Ly's, so I stayed there. Luckily, Ly left while I was still here. I almost went back to America, and there was no way I could have gone back.

Everything seemed to be pre-arranged and arranged. At the end of her life, Ly also supported and encouraged me to compete and I also won the Gold Medal. I was very sad. I had taken care of all the doctors and hospitals but Ly could not make it, I did not know what to do.

Despite his grief, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long still tried to help his family to arrange a proper and complete funeral for his adopted daughter. When his daughter passed away, he continuously called people in his hometown to ask for support, to help find a suitable coffin for Kim Tieu Ly to bury her.

"My family in the countryside is in a difficult situation, so I will take care of my child's funeral. This is also a sincere act of love and gratitude," the male artist shared. When his adopted daughter was still alive, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long loved her wholeheartedly and took care of her like his own daughter: "Even though she is an adopted daughter, when she calls me 'dad', I love her like my own daughter."

In some recent press conferences and entertainment events, Kim Tieu Ly's daughter always accompanies her adoptive father. The most recent time was at Miss Kim Thoa's event in Vung Tau. She and her adoptive father attended the event, took photos, and interacted with the audience. It is known that Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long has adopted Kim Tieu Ly as his adopted daughter for many years. Kim Tieu Ly's real name is Le Thi Kim Ly, known as the smallest girl in Vietnam. Due to many illnesses, even though she is over 20 years old, Kim Ly is only 75cm tall, weighs only 8.8kg, and has the physical condition of a 1-year-old child.

During her lifetime, Kim Ly lived with her grandmother and was taken care of by her. Every time he returned to Vietnam, artist Kim Tieu Long always took time to visit and accompany his adopted daughter.

Talking about his feelings for his daughter Kim Tieu Ly, the male artist once emotionally shared: "Once I accept her as my child, I love all of her, regardless of whether she is adopted or biological. Ly is very weak, so I love her so I help her, I take care of her. If anyone wants to say anything, say it. My daughter and I still love each other."
