Born and raised in poverty, Le Thuy had to experience the hardships of life early on. However, in that situation, her sweet singing voice and passion for art sprouted in her heart. Le Thuy said that since she was a chil.d, she loved listening to the radio and was fascinated by the melodious tunes of Cai Luong. The songs and the characters on stage became an indispensable part of her spiritual world.
The big turning point in Le Thuy's life came when she caught the eye of artist Tu Long, a famous musician at that time. The guidance of her first teacher laid a solid foundation for Le Thuy's later singing career.
With the dedicated guidance of artist Tu Long, Le Thuy quickly improved and began to perform at small local troupes. Although still unfamiliar, her gifted, emotional voice and natural acting gradually attracted the attention of the audience.
