After the group split, Nicky Wu not only did not fade away but also shone brightly with a series of musical products that were warmly received by the public. He released albums in Mandarin and Cantonese, including hits such as Best Wishes to You and Waiting Day by Day. With his masculine, upright image and good acting ability, Ngo Ky Long continues to be invited to participate in big projects, including The Art of War - a film co-produced with King Andy Lau.

In his personal life, Nicky Wu was first married to actress Ma Ya Shu. The two got married in December 2006 but the marriage only lasted three years. They officially divorced in early 2009.
