According to the sharing of artist Huu Tai, reformed artist Bich Thuy died on the evening of October 26 from a heart attack. She lived to be 73 years old. The veteran male artist added that his wife suffered from coronary heart disease and diabetes for many years.

It is known that on the evening of October 26, she complained that she was tired, so the artist Huu Tai planned to take her to the doctor. After waiting too long, he opened the door to the room and discovered that artist Bich Thuy had passed away. Huu Tai said: "I was shocked when my wife passed away suddenly. For many years, my wife had angioplasty to treat coronary heart disease, and again had diabetes. However, she is still very healthy."

Her passing left behind mourning for the Vietnamese reform community. Many artists such as composer Hoang Song Viet and People's Artist Bach Tuyet said they were saddened by the passing of a talented colleague.

The artist's funeral was held at his home in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City. The burial ceremony took place on October 27, in the morning of October 29, then the coffin was cremated at Da Phuoc.

Artist Bich Thuy's real name is Nguyen Thi Thuy, born in 1949 in Ben Tre. She used to work in Cai Luong troupes such as Tinh Hoa, Da Ly Huong 1, Da Ly Huong 2, City Literary Union, Tran Huu Trang Cai Luong Theater.

In 1968, Huu Tai was brought to Da Ly Huong troupe by Mr. Tu Hieu, but he encountered a star-studded duo of the group, so he only sang a double role in his spare time, recording records and singing on the radio.

1 year later, Bich Thuy also joined the Da Ly Huong troupe, fortunately, NS Bach Tuyet and Phuong Lien loved her like a sister, devotedly helping her, so she had many good roles, was accepted as a disciple by NS Ba Van, and he According to NS Tam Van, the monk was an apprentice. In 1970, many events happened in the South, in order to keep their love, both decided to get married. At the beginning of the year of marriage, at the end of the year, the first daughter Nguyen Thi Duong Thuy was born.

One year later, the second daughter Nguyen Thi Thao was present in that happy family, and another year later, the youngest son Nguyen Van Vu was born, so the couple had enough routines. To this day, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren have 3 boys and 2 girls, all of them have their own families. Both of them celebrate together, sing, do charity work, and are at peace with what they have.

The first time they met each other, then fell in love, and then promised to keep them apart for a few years, ending with a solid marriage, rare such an artist's love.
