She will become Cambodia's representative at Miss Grand International 2024 taking place this coming October.

It is known that Sotheary Bee was born in 1998, has a beautiful face, 1m73 height and impressive profile. Before achieving this title, she won the Miss Cambodia 2016 contest when she was just 18 years old. At the contestant announcement on July 11 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee said that after the preliminary round, the jury selected the top 40 contestants for the final round. However, there were 4 beauties who asked to stop competing, including Mac Huyen Tran, Nguyen Thien Thanh, Nguyen Hong Ngoc, and Pham Thi Ngoc Tran.

The Organizing Committee said that the beauties had health problems so they could not continue accompanying the contest. Thus, there are only 36 beauties participating in the final round.

At the event, the top 36 contestants had an impressive introduction in evening gowns. Among these contestants, there were many familiar faces such as Nguyen Thi Le Nam, Bui Ly Thien Huong, Nguyen Vinh Ha Phuong... receiving enthusiastic cheers from the audience present.

This year, the Organizing Committee decided to skip the semi-finals because they wanted to devote resources to the final night taking place on August 3 in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province.

In addition to familiar competitions such as national costume performance and Best in Swimsuit, the contestants will undergo the Grand Voice Award challenge to find a beauty with good singing ability.

In addition, the Best Seller Award round (first applied at Miss Grand Vietnam) was held to find contestants with livestream sales skills, similar to the format of Miss Grand Thailand.

The national cultural costume contest will take place on July 30. Previously, the Organizing Committee launched the national cultural costume design competition with designers Viet Hung, Dang Trong Minh Chau, Vu Lan Anh and Nguyen Minh Cong as coaches.

In addition, the contestant who wins the most votes will be directly entered into the top 10 Miss Grand Vietnam 2024.

The jury of Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 includes Miss Ha Kieu Anh (Head of the jury), People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien (Deputy head of the jury), Miss Thuy Tien, model Minh Tu, Miss Le Hoang Phuong, Doan Thien An, actor Quoc Truong.

The girl who wins the crown will represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International - Miss Grand International 2024 taking place in October.
