A single mother with cancer who used to have to work hard to get treatment is now "makeover" spectacularly after 8 years

Ms. Bui Thu Thuy (born in 1983, nicknamed Thuy Bop) discovered a tumor in her chest in 2015. Cancer came to her like a thunderbolt. The beautiful mother that year had just settled into her life shortly after holding her son Bop out of a broken marriage.

The moment she heard the news that she was sick, the doctor said everything she said, she just wanted to burst into tears when she thought of her child, thought of the scene that the boy would be alone in the world.

Beautiful single mother confided: "Many people say, that moment is similar to hearing a death sentence, but no, it's not like. Getting a death sentence means someone has committed a crime, and the need to pay. The price for it is natural, it's just a matter of sooner or later.

As for me, being young, healthy and beautiful, suddenly two words cancer fell on my life. Cancer, it's more of a challenge I have to overcome than an end."

Crying for a week, then stop, she lifted herself up to continue living. Cancer is like an obstacle that Thuy Bop has to overcome, but my life still has to go on! Before she got sick, she never let baby Bop witness her mother's fatigue and suffering. Same goes for cancer days.

That year, Bop was only in 4th grade. The boy gently took care of his mother. When he came home from school, he went to the hospital with his mother, sometimes just lying next to his mother to observe the needles, seeing his mother nauseated, he took his mother to vomit. At home, I also do all the chores: washing, drying, washing dishes, cleaning the house... in silence.

As for Thuy, she is "crazy" to worry about her children's future. At that time, she was only afraid that she would die soon, no one would take care of her children. During the chemotherapy sessions, Thuy Bop didn't even think she had cancer anymore, because she was too busy with "plowing" money.

Leaving the job at an import-export company, a beautiful single mother turned to selling homemade cakes. On weekdays, she made all kinds of bread, when it was time to make moon cakes, during Tet, she turned to banh chung, spring rolls... At that time, when she finished the transmission, she pulled out the needle and went back to work.

Continuously for a long time, Thuy Bop only slept about 3 hours/day. She took advantage of each "swallow" time to make cakes to earn money, to exercise with her children, to study with her children. With the mindset that even if she only had a few months to live, she had to spend those few months trying her best to "plow" for her children, Thuy Bop has overcome the cancer days spectacularly.

After 8 rounds of chemotherapy, the last one on December 3, 2015, Thuy Bop had to inject an ovarian inhibitor once a month and take the drug daily for 5 years to atrophy the ovaries, "kill" the female hormone.

There was a time when she lost all her hair and changed her appearance to become more "manly". I used to worry that one day, I would become "Mr Thuy".

But somehow, Thuy Bop has temporarily conquered cancer. She "confessed", perhaps changing her lifestyle, way of enjoying joy and positive energy has made her gradually become a new person. After 8 years with many events, she is more beautiful and radiant than the day she did not have the disease.

She revealed: "I'm grateful that I have breast cancer and it happened at the right time when I still had the opportunity to fix it. In the past, I was a person who lived a carefree life, busy playing, eating at night, staying up late, working. I work like a moth and never exercise. When I run out of energy, cancer comes as if I have to pay the price, due to an unhealthy lifestyle, not knowing how to love myself.

The person I am now is different from before. When I got sick, I just started to learn how to eat and exercise, sometimes I feel like a meal can save my life. After that, I even joined an international online course on nutrition to increase my understanding."

From 2015 to now, she has regularly practiced "heavy", jogging, gym, climbing, swimming... with a strict schedule. From a person who does not practice anything, Thuy Bop of today can play boxing, mountain climbing, jogging, cycling, archery, rowing.

When her health condition is relatively stable, Thuy Bop often travels both at home and abroad with quite long journeys. She did not follow the resort style, but chose to explore and practice.

Thuy Bop's diet and activities also changed. Economic pressure is reduced, she does not "exertion" as in previous years, does not stay up too late anymore, but sleeps early and gets up early. She also persistently pursues a healthy, healthy diet.

Thanks to that, both mental and physical health of Thuy Bop is very good, much more radiant than at the age of 39. The remaining traces of cancer are only a tearful autobiography that she dares not to read again until now. and profound past experiences.
