In order to survive in the competitive Kpop world, idols always have to take great care of their appearance. Many trainees have to apply a strict weight loss regime and cause a lot of harm to themselves. With the practice mode like a machine, many artists were exhausted right on stage.

Kpop always exists two opposite sides, both flashy and dark. In order to appear in the limelight, idols have to endure invisible pressures. That pressure can come from fans, from surrounding negative news, or even from their own management company. Passing the selection round does not mean you will be released quickly. This is just the first step in the battle for survival for the chance to become a member of an idol group with a series of other prominent faces.
