The name of tiktoker Luong Do is receiving special attention from the entire internet, when he officially joined Hang Du Muc's team, introduced by the female tiktoker as a "new disciple". His profile was also quickly discovered.
Before becoming known as a content creator, Luong Do (real name Do Trinh Luong) spent many years studying abroad in New Zealand. After returning home after graduating, Luong Do had a stable position at one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Vietnam. In 2021, Luong Do had a "big turning point" in his life when he decided to quit his job and switch to becoming a content creator about grooming for men.
Building a Tiktok channel with content sharing skin care secrets, Luong Do quickly attracted public attention. Most recently, during a trip back to Vietnam to prepare for the mega live, Hang Du Muc's side made a surprise announcement that Luong Do would join Hang Du Muc's team, she humorously said that this was her "new disciple".
As a modern young person, Luong Do is very interested in personal life. A scientific lifestyle is the motto he pursues to have "comprehensive" health. With his knowledge, he also wants to spread those positive values to young people out there. Because it comes with many benefits when it helps the body stay in a state of refreshment, the spirit is excited to work more effectively.
That's why Luong Do came up with the idea of creating a Tiktok channel to share useful information with everyone. Luckily, he received a lot of support from viewers, helping the 9x guy have more motivation to learn more about quality products.
Some people also doubted Luong Do's gender when creating this content, he shared: "It cannot be denied that there are many content creators and TikTokers from the LGBT community who are active and working in this field. But men in the skincare field are still relatively new, and as you can see, there are still many prejudices. So my "position" in the field may have more advantages and be more curious.
Confiding about choosing Tiktok as a place to develop creativity and work, Luong Do confided: "I learned from a Marketing investor that TikTok will be like YouTube 10 years ago. If you can come early, you will have a huge advantage over those who come after. This has changed my "prejudice" about TikTok - a platform only for people younger than me. In the first 1-2 months, I did not have any videos with more than 1000 views even though the content I shared was not "picky" about viewers. But there was a video I made that was humorous about different types of people in the gym and went viral. I realized that I finally had some results after more than 30 videos that had flopped.
At first, I worked on gym, but only stopped at sharing exercises and humorous content. If I wanted to go further, I had to dig deeper, like learning about body structure (muscle, metabolism...), nutrition... But I don't like "half-hearted" things, so I thought about skincare. At that time, a little bit of everything was not the best direction for me, so I had to calculate carefully.
After a period of consideration, I decided to choose skincare. Because I had basic knowledge about the products before, had a long time of experience, I also had friends working in the field of dermatology, researching compounds... So everything seemed "wider" for me.
In detail about the change of direction, he said: Before, my "skin care" only stopped at 1 bottle of makeup remover, 1 tube of cleanser and 1 jar of moisturizer that you can find at the supermarket. Every now and then, I would ask... to use my girlfriend's mask. I seriously learned about skin care in 2018, when I was preparing to return home to attend my friend's wedding. When I first came to New Zealand, I was both studying and working, so I looked quite "worn out". In general, at first, I was very shy, just stopping at "selling her a set of skin whitening and brightening products". Gradually, I learned more like now.
Talking about the income from this job, the male tiktoker did not hesitate to share: "At first, I struggled a lot. I remember about the first 4 or 5 months, it was definitely not enough, I only got about 200 - 300 thousand, 1 million VND at most. Since TikTok Shop came to Vietnam, the livestream form became popular, I also had many new opportunities. Now I can have a little extra to run the business, pay for hiring staff and use for personal activities.
In the near future, Luong Do plans to strongly develop his Tiktok channel so that quality information about skin care can reach many newbies who are struggling to find a suitable routine. In addition, 9x will share more about healthy diets combined with exercise to help the body always be in the most energetic state.
